EBTG really had the weirdest career trajectory. From jazzy left-wing oddly-radio-friendly sophisto-pop to cover version hell to THA MUTHAFUPPIN' DANCEFLOOR and then to a domestic bliss making no records at all but writing surprisingly great books.
 
We were on holiday when Glenn Madieros was number one so I think I was spared the full horror at the time but shit the bed, this is AWFUL. :D

Most probably - that's why I said "I'm sorry but" at the beginning because that initial rumour has completely stuck in my mind and somehow there's no shifting it.
