The Traitors - Episode 3

FACE OF HATE

How old does John claim to be? He's giving my age, but I seem to think I read 42 or 43?

I can see John running into people getting rid of him just because they can't stand him at some point, even though that isn't the point of the game (which is of course a common tension in these sorts of games, especially with a lot of rookies). Arguably Imran's already been ditched on those grounds, whether the people who voted for him quite realised it or not

We do it every Moopy Mafia.

KindaCool out third EVERY TIME.

Very niche reference but John’s attack of Aaron instantly reminded me of LYNNE attacking Spencer for no reason in Big Brother 3 :D

Niche but so much yes! Alcohol was at play both times as well. I don't John or Lynne were completely drunk, but definitely more animated than usual showing the ugly sides to their character

That Lynne clip is so utterly psychotic watching back :D All because the poor boy asked if she liked something about half a second too close to her finishing her sentence!

I'd say Wilfred, Aaron and the pretty BMX boy are the closest to being typical blokey, just Aaron has shown us the vulnerability the judges were looking for early on
Also Wilfred is absolutely typical blokey in terms of what that usually means in 2022, just we're on his side because he's a traitor. Matt (pretty BMX boy) is getting off ASTOUNDINGLY lightly here given his ENTIRE PERSONALITY is how much he wants to fuck the blonde Love Island girl!

Also is anyone else finding it a bit uncomfortable how hard a time Fay's getting from all the other contestants? What on EARTH was the rationale behind 'two-faced'?

From everyone ganging up on Nicky - to begin with on 'evidence' from a seed planted by Alyssa based in her disability (to Alyssa's credit, she did seem absolutely mortified when that hit the fan) - to Aisha going out first, to everyone taking against Fay really solely on the basis of her....just acting like any half-intelligent person who had no information to begin with would, it's a bit of a light BAD LOOK all round so far :D

Aisha REALLY went in for her on day which didn't seem to based on anything we as viewers saw anyway. Maybe that stuck with people.

That and her utter GLEE voting off perhaps :D

That's fair enough - but like I said, it does just mean that I can't really give myself to being right behind the traitors at this stage because they have all the power and don't particularly need to play well.
I think the main problem at the moment is so many of the Faithful are coming across infuriatingly silly at this point that it's hard to get behind them. I mean my god the little sleuthing moment where it felt like Tom, Andrea and John had more or less sniffed out Wilfred that absolutely NOTHING came of - why on earth did nobody bring it up and everyone spend the whole time deciding it was just between Imran and Aaron? That bloody John feud again

Although I suppose Andrea could be playing a very clever game there - recognising it was probably too early to get a plurality behind Wilfred so keeping her cards close to her chest, not wanting to highlight herself and make herself vulnerable to getting whacked in the night.

(on that topic, it's quite an interesting dynamic not allowing people to change votes and having to go with their instinct in the moment. I wonder if that'll change at all as the show goes on)

Man I did not remember Spencer being that hot at the time. Or am I just becoming a Pervy old man who is indiscriminate when it comes to men in their early 20s?

Yes it’s very similar. Maybe my dad was right about Scots? :D

I think they qualified it - you *may* get the opportunity.

Well they wouldn’t keep that in the edit if they don’t get the opportunity later on.

For what it’s worth I don’t think this ‘three on trial’ twist was brought in as a response to try and help the faithfuls. I’m sure they planned this out hard to the hour and minute.

The producers would be much more worried if the opposite had happened and we were already down to two or one traitors I reckon.

That said, maybe I'm being exceptionally hard on the Faithful here because I only get to see an edit of them being thick as a group of largely (I assume) total newbies for the first three days - I'm not sure I can think of a single time on here (except maybe once?) where a Mafia member had been taken out after two votes

Who do we reckon has played before? Ivan feels like he absolutely has. Imran probably has too but has also only just reached self awareness that he has terrible people skills

Not sure he'd have had time around getting his phd at age 17 or whatever. And then spending the rest of his time mentioning it.
I presume these people have SOME downtime, even if it was just him playing once with friends, him outsmarting them and them not turning on him, and him convincing himself he'd walk it on intellect alone.
