So far, it seems that the winner of Sanremo could be between two big pop girls. But which of the songs is your favourite?

I still don’t trust Italy not to send one of the men, but of these two it MUST be Annalisa. Incredible.

Loredana is the press darling but realistically I can’t see her winning. I’m going by the betting odds where the top 2 are quite a bit in front of the others.

Absolute bop, she was absolutely serving cunt and she was on early enough so I actually saw it.
 
I like Mango but Annalisa is a cut above.

I do hope that if (WHEN) she gets the nod and it comes time to start chopping from the song they reduce the QUANDO SECTION to one go round each time. Leave the intro and epic end part alone.

That strikes me as the obvious (and probably ONLY) cut really.

The Mango one is a bit shit so there's no contest, but you seem to have counted out Emma despite it being a matter of international importance that she wins with all the points.
 
Both excellent, but Angelina just edges it for me. I really want to see Italy sending a Eurovision girl-bop, it would be so out of character for them (while still Italian and classy) and La Noia fits the bill perfectly.

Sinceramente would still be my favourite Italian Eurovision song in over a decade and would challenge for my favourite of the year, so it's not a bad choice to have, BUT I can't quite shake the feeling that it isn't quite as strong as Bellisima, Mon Amour or Euforia - almost like it's a leftover from her album sessions. Again, it's a pretty high bar, but I just was that little bit more instantly taken with La Noia.
 
Despite DEEP RESERVATIONS about the Poll Question; should the WORST HAPPEN and Italy engages in some recreational ageism instead of their expected sexism, then it can only be ANNALISA.

(Also the QUANDO QUANDO QUANDO section is the best bit!)
 
I'm obviously thrilled by Italy potentially sending a female-fronted bop, but I'm genuinely quite baffled that La Noia has the jump on Sinceramente.

The latter sounds like a genuinely high end Italian dance-pop smash, while the former is something we'd get in a (very) good year from Romania.

I am conflicted.

One one hand I am devastated that it looks increasingly likely that Annalisa won't win. She is, apart from Kylie, my favourite artist of the moment, and I would be elated if she went to Eurovision. Her song for me, is the best song of the season, although I am slightly biased.

On the other hand, I do LOVE La Noia, and it is my second favourite in Sanremo this year, and she is great. But I just don't think the song is anywhere near as good as Sinceremante, but I would take it over anything else in a heartbeat. I just think Sinceramente would do better at Eurovision.

Oh well.

La Noia is very Italian though! Latin music and reggaeton etc are incredibly popular over there. We just haven't heard much of it in Sanremo before.
 
I love both but think I marginally prefer this to either. Shame she seems to not be in the running at all as I think it'd do equally as well at Eurovision

 
Of the two, on first impressions Angelina, but Annalisa is the one I'd rather go back to for repeated listens.

The horror if that Geocaching or whatever wins. Italy are gross
