I understand enjoying a film is always going to be subjective but that reviewer seems like they simply weren't paying attention. Ben is close long time friends with both Pete and Claudia so it seems reasonable enough he'd fly to Australia. The Australia mansion belongs to Claudia's stepfather...

I'm extremely single as per usual but I did get to see a 25th anniversary showing of '10 Things I Hate About You' allowing me to momentarily pretend it was 1999 and i was 17 again so all good. :)

I was a teen in the late 90s and very early 2000s and even though the main characters of Anyone But You are in their mid-20s (Sydney Sweeney) or early to mid 30s (Glen Powell) this film really reminds me of the high school romcoms I so nostalgically love that era. Like Clueless (based on Emma)...

In the spare room. As you can see it is terrifyingly a little messy but I had to loyally surrender my room to a visiting uncle for the evening. Still at least I get to feel all artsy and bohemian and such for the evening. (The TV works thank God.)
