There is an older Xmas special which is great but I can't remember which one.
Downton Christmas specials are okay, as long as you don’t mind that they get Christmas out of the way in the first ten minutes.
It’s still a wintry country house setting, though.Well that’s no good is it!

Ha mine too.
"Well would you look at that. A GEARSTICK!"
"We are never going to get to the villa with NIGEL MANSELL HERE at the wheel"
'Surprised' rather than 'pleased'?OH MY GOD
I don't know whether to be more surprised that you're on moopy or that you're STILL ALIVE

I'm fairly sure it was season 2. It's after they found out Gary was married, and I don't think that was season 1...I’m on iPlayer Christmas special list, there’s some goodies in there. Been watching plenty of cheesy tat the last few days
@You Butter Watch Out which season was Miranda Mas can you remember? It’s giving me a special from season 2 but I’m not sure it’s that one
I watched The Royle Family The New Sofa when it was on Dave or Gold the other night. Perhaps one of the weaker ones but still so much to enjoy.
It's definitely right up there for me.I think The Royle Family is probably my favourite ever sitcom.
Tom Courtenay is brilliant in that episode, completely changing the dynamic. 'Bar-bear-ah'I watched The Royle Family The New Sofa when it was on Dave or Gold the other night. Perhaps one of the weaker ones but still so much to enjoy.
The Queen of Sheba is probably the best single episode of anything I've ever watched. Flawless.I think The Royle Family is probably my favourite ever sitcom.

Wasn't that a Thanksgiving episode? The Will And Grace episode where they visit all their families in a single night or something is really good. I think it's a double bill.
Good point, well made.I love this one, especially Tom Courtenay as Dave's dad and not forgetting BODYBAG from Bad Girls as his mother
"Any wetters in your family Jimbo?"

I don't think TV gets any better than this
