Sweden 2025: KAJ - Bara bada bastu

People have interestingly started to float the balloon that this could be a relative dud on the night. I still don't think so, but I could see it!
 
Not sure how it’s still the favourite to WIN?!
 
It's one of relatively few which sticks after one listen, which surely won't do it any harm.
 
I think at worst it tanks the jury and sweeps the televote in Finland, Norway, Estonia, Denmark and Iceland, which is a minimum of 50-100 points right there. (I think the juries in those countries will treat it quite kindly too, even if the rest of the world is a bit nonplussed).

So I think upper mid-table is the worst it can realistically do, and I expect it to go higher than that. Not sure I buy it as the frontrunner though.
 
I can’t quite see a scenario where it wins either (but it’ll be Top 10, probably Top 5 for sure) - but the same statement rings true for the other entries. The front runners in 2021-2023 were much clearer, this year could be a 2011 redux.
 
I’d say this is the front runner now. It’s easily going to net a 300+ televote score.

Why "should" they? It's fun, well performed, a crowd pleaser, a bit different, simple but effective staging...

Just because a song falls into the "fun" category doesn't mean the juries need to be poe-faced about it. There is clearly an absolute chasm between this and the likes of I Don't Feel Hate or Moustache.

The international juries ranked it well at Melfest, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t do similarly at Eurovision if it’s a clear standout.

Also Rim Tim Tagi Dim and Cha Cha Cha were both top six with the juries.
 
I don’t think the juries should or will bury it - it’s feels like the favourite. I can stand it but it is clearly very popular.
