Corrie 2024

I'm with Bernie on this one, cheeky as fuck for the Platts to ask for money for Bethany

Audrey looks quite frail to me now, I hope Sue is okay. Nice to see Gail for the first time in forever

David was conned into selling the Platt house during that sinkhole plot and Gail bought it as a “mystery bidder”.

That's surely going to lead to some chaotic results for poor Gail's exit. Can't wait

I hope we get the real reason for his exit from the gutter press ASAP
Sean Wilson has now revealed that an unfounded historical sex claim scuppered his return to Corrie

I take it we won’t be seeing a Janice Battersby return then. :D

She's always slagging the show. She had a go about the writing a few years back when they did the Oliver storyline and Jane Danson called her out on it

I do think Janice had some good moments, I loved when she found out about Leanne working as a prostitute. She went apeshit and it was a great scene

Is the storyline for Gail's departure good enough to consider watching her final episode?

Not in the slightest

Pretty much a non story of Gail buying a villa, and very much still the parody / cartoon idiot version of her

Although to be fair they obviously had very little time to script anything with the Sean Wilson debacle

So is Richard Hillman back from the dead then, or is she just dreaming him?

It's like Bobby in the shower in Dallas all over again!

I certainly hope not. Either way it's a shame this dross happened in the same episode where they paid homage to the legend Elsie Tanner!
