How have a slept on this HOT POP GEM for so long?

Obviously the original album version is CATCHIER THAN COVID but this remix sounds like something by Motiv8 circa 1996.

I DIED!

BTW Bonus Tracks rate

10 - Fashion of His Love - Simple bop, can't go wrong
08 - The Queen - Far too similar and weaker than Edge of Glory for me to really care about
05 - Black Jesus + Amen Fashion - Annoying title. Bland song. Probably would be pushed to a 5.5 if I could be arsed to listen to it but I can't and therefore can't even hum it rn

She really was channeling Whitney that era. It's obviously a perfect 10.

I also adore Black Jesus + Amen Fashion.

I've always loved this :disco:

I'd go for the original over the remix but only by a smidge as they're both amazing.

all the BTW bonus tracks are fabulous. and somehow an entirely separate vibe from the main album. Fashion of His Love is such a lost 80s Whitney track when the chorus hits. :disco: the middle 8 has the same melody as parts of Born This Way.

Black Jesus remains my fave tho.

I only listen to it as the Special Edition so don't know what was extra and what wasn't. I don't touch any of the remixes tacked on at the end though.
