2 episodes in and it’s good. It just doesn’t have the freshness that made The Boys interesting.
You can see the twists coming because they echo what happens in the original series. Also I’m finding the sex stuff here gross for some reason versus funny.

Some of the writing and direction on this is quite shit.
There’s a scene where a villain walks into a room where 2 characters are hiding, monologues to himself the details of the evil plan and then exits
Also the finale has the characters seemingly running around in circles without any sense of place as action happens.
Not necessarily bad, just felt inessential.
