Greece 2025: Klavdia - Asteromáta

So based on popularity and size of their record labels, I expect there will be at least 3 ASFM alumni in the final.

Evangelia

Daphne Lawrence
25th in Zen's ASFZen held on November 13th 2024
32nd in Tisch's Summer Holiday Edition held on September 17th 2022

Tasos Xiarcho
32nd in Haiku's April Lucky-Dip Switcheroo held on May 7th 2022

Ert has booked the Christmas Theatre for 3 days, 28-30th of January, presumably the first two are for rehearsals, so expect them to push the Nf a day later than announced.

This is the venue.

Clips are here if you scroll down a bit:

Andy Nicolas – Lost My Way
BARBZ – Sirens
Evangelia – Vale
Nafsika – Unhurt Me
Dinamiss – Odyssey
Thanos Lambrou – Free Love
Ricky – Elevator
Constantinos Christoforou – Paradisos
Georgina Kalais & John Vlaseros – High Road
Xannova Xan – Plate
Klavdia – Asteromata
Kostas Ageris – Gi mou

The songs are out. Valé would do very nicely indeed. Love how it starts generic and then gets progressively more and more 🇬🇷

Constantinos Christoforou, who represented Cyprus in 1996, 2002 and 2005 is back with a nice brooding Greek midtempo which could have easily competed in any of those three years.

Please put Evangelia out of her misery and send her!

Sparta 2026!

Can someone more unemployed than me put together a national final schedule?

Someone already did!

I’m disappointed to see that the Xannova Xan song is called ‘Play It’, not ‘Plate’ as advertised by that lying @Tisch. I was hoping for a deep meditation on a visit to a restaurant culminating with all the crockery hitting the floor.

Yes quite… Greece are definitely not “serving” this year! A couple of fun basic bops that I’d be more than happy to see at Eurovision even if they aren’t all that competitive but the rest is filler.

Some genuinely Eurovision You Decide level dross in there.
