I put it on the other night and fell asleep five tracks in. Endlessly is really good. Roses is still boring.
 
Well I love this album. It's so lush. A million times better than SZA (there's actual tunes and no mumble singing for a start).

The duet with Omar Apollo is an early highlight. Love the 70s lounge soul references throughout as well even though it still feels very now.
 
Wait she sounds so so good in Midnights. Also parts of it kind of remind me of Jill Scott

I've not really connected with her past music but I think I'm interested in this now
 
I liked the album but I can’t say I remember any individual songs behind Moonlight. It started slow and I thought it might be boring but I got more into it as I listened
 
SZA's album has more tunes than this. sorry not sorry.

really getting into select songs now though, like MOONLIGHT and BLUE. :disco:

i only wish the songs were less but longer - i'd chop a good third of them but lets talk faves instead
