Too early. Rishi Sunak still has six days to punch a nurse or commit statutory rape.

What do we think turnout will be?

I think we’ll go below 60%
I think you might be right. If I lived in England and there wasn't a decent independent candidate, I probably wouldn't vote. That would be a first for me too, I've always gone out of my way to vote. But the political landscape is so miserable and depressing that I can see a lot of people feeling the exercise to be worthless. What's the line? "Withdrawal in disgust is not the same as apathy".

as per the main GE thread, Survation MRP today forecasts the following

Labour 484
Tories 64
Lib Dems 61
SNP 10
Reform 7
Plaid Cymru 3
Greens 3

but what do YOU think? it could be interesting to look back on this on Friday...

I will say

Labour 459
Tories 68
Lib Dems 52
Reform 18
SNP 8
Plaid Cymru 3
Greens 2

The only thing I really want now is for the Lib Dems to be the 2nd largest party but I think that's a pipedream. Too much press support for the Tories, too many bullshit scare stories, too much fucking Farage.

It was more a matter of how Ed Davey had to pretend he was on It's A Knockout to get any press attention whereas every gaseous mouth fart from Farage was given mass coverage.
This fucking infuriates me. They don’t even have an MP and, for all their Hitler youth rallies, their support seems to have plateaued - why are Reform being treated like major players at the expense of other parties?

Because they're serving the billionaire's agenda. Divide and conquer.
