I've got a real itching to play FFIX again, and it's made me quite sad how this was the last time they made a Final Fantasy main game that had that sense of cutesy, olde worlde whimsy about it. I think ever since 10, they've had all had the same futuristic/realistic aesthetic. I would die for a properly colourful, fantastical world like 9's on today's systems. It's like the creativity has DRIED UP.

This is all very "not like it used to be" I know. My main point is I'm excited to play 9 again - especially as I can't play Rebirth yet so I'm HANKERING
