"Light Years" (the song) is very much like "Your Disco Needs You" for me in that I loved them both initially but with time, the novelty factor has worn off and they've started to irritate.

The short snippet of "Turn It Into Love" was great (and the only reason it's there in the top 10) but the main track ruins it for me.

Getting prematurely overexcited for the Tension tour with a spin of this, and OH MY GAY DAYS but is the Everything Taboo (was it always called that?) section not just the most dizzying 8 minutes of homosexual joy ever committed to record?

I ACCEPT YOUR POINT but it wasn't even the greatest moment of that concert, coming after the 10 minute standing ovation she got at the start pretty much every time she set foot on the stage for JUST NOT BEING DEAD to the ACTUAL SHRIEKS and CRIES from gays of a certain age when the stage rose in the middle of Light Years and segued into the opening lines of Turn It Into Love with her waving her arm across the audience and poignantly crying out "Did you believe I'd let you down?"
