RuPaul's Drag Race

But are you going on the Drag Cruise? There are simply too many jokes about Munter as Shelley Winters in the Poseiden Adventure.

Have you SEEN the price of it? I'm sure you'd pay that amount just to have the chance to push her overboard though. AS IF any of AXM's regulars can afford to go to that.

I know they have to pay for the Queens to come over but I think charging an extra £15 for a "Meet and Greet" which consists of a 10 second photo opportunity is a BIT MUCH. The tickets are £15 on their own. Though Milk and Tammie Brown are selling at half price, they can't be very popular, poor bitches. Bianca sold out over a month before the show!

Season one may be the only season I've only watched once. It's a bit shit. So if you're liking it, the best is yet to come (Seasons 2, 3 and 4 :disco: )

I imagine it gets more SOPHISTICATED over time as most reality shows do. Season 1s are always done on a budget.

Still, it's good to hear that things can only get better :disco:

I also remember how much I used to get sucked in to Project Runway because of the strong personalities - as soon as someone would start bitching about someone else and then they'd confront them it was ESSENTIAL viewing :D I'd get so worked up if one of them was really catty and kept winning because the judges hadn't discovered their DARK side yet :D

I imagine this show is that, x100 :disco:

Funky, you HAVE to watch Untucked. I think it starts with season 2. It is ESSENTIAL. And often better than the main show! :disco:

No I don't think so. But you could torrent it? It's basically half an hour of SHADE AND BITCHING. :disco:

You SHOULD have been READ for that HAIR but you WEREN'T was this season's essential Untucked quote for me. I have no idea why.

Oh my god :D

As seen HERE:

(I'm surprised we've never really talked about Jiz before, it's fucking fabulous and seems like it'd be right up a lot of people here's street. The abortion and drugs episodes and the one about Kimber becoming a lesbian are particularly amazing :D)

And Willam's response to Detox being shady on her instalment of Ring My Bell

I don’t know why she says what she does but I went and watched it after i got this question. Seems like DWV was a big part of her life because she talks about it a lot instead of talking about what’s next for her. I’m a bit too busy to keep up with what she and the other one have slated but onward and upward (or however far up that hill you can get anyway).

WILLAM

p.s. It’s hard to put differences aside and “just work together” when someone is constantly ridiculed and called a cunt and has their time and work disrespected. My glass house is full of holes and held together with duct tape but I’m really glad to be in a positive headspace and on my own now ;) Namaste & shit. For real- wish nothing but the best for De. She’s given me too many smiles to wish for anything other than that.

I didn't know they broke up. They went really shit by the end so I'm not that obsessed.

I guess this will make for good drama if they're both in All Stars.

I didn't realize that none other than Milan danced back-up for Lady Kier back in 2005 when it looked like she was finally going to give us that solo album:

So tonight I saw Bianca Del Rio perform at one of the hated Lady Munter nights. I did not have a choice! Also bear in mind I've still only seen season 2 and had no idea who Bianca actually was, but she put on quite a good show. Before that we had a few support acts to get through... first of all some local queen celebrating the 18th birthday of Wannabe by doing a (6/10) lipsync to it, then someone billed as Scotland's top "boylesque" act. It was HORRIBLE and went on for ages despite threatening to end several times. We then had the Buffalo Girls, apparently of TV's (if regional/online gay interest sites count as TV now) Drag Queens of London. They sang a few songs (Sugababes' Overload, a Neon Jungle track and something else), and I want to applaud them for singing live but it really was diabolical - off key, half-arsed choreography and no energy on stage at all.

After that there was a wait of about forty minutes (:daf:), then they did a little thing to celebrate the Munter's birthday (30 apparently - and the fucking REST :manson:). She's truly a vile creation, but not in a knowing way... anyway, at the end of that Bianca came out and read her (very good) and did a bit of her comedy routine. She's very funny and I can see how she won. After that came the bulk of her act, which involved getting four people up on stage to put on wigs and lipsync for their lives. This was better than it sounded, with some big senga clumping about the stage to Born This Way (despite not knowing any of the words) and a very attractive young bear who won by doing Party in the USA. At no time was it mentioned what the prize was, but it didn't really matter. I had a very good time and I'd certainly pay to see her again - I realise this post is VERY "what I did on my holidays by COB aged 6", but tough shit.

How lucky. Although it's time for her to change her act, I've already seen the whole bring four people up to stage thing a few times in YouTube.

I hope she reads Jeremy to filth. There's ample source material.

How was she? Did she read you dUb?

The highlight was the look on Bianca's face as host of sorts Lady Munter deliberately walked in front of her during her set with a smirk, and then saying "I'd kick you in the cunt, but don't want to lose a shoe" or words to that effect.

She didn't - I was close but not that close. And she was very entertaining. She definitely relies on her well-worn quips (we got the "lose a shoe" line too) and most of the time was taken up with the audience participation stuff but her reading of said audience members was hilarious, and obviously off the cuff. I enjoyed it a lot.

This photograph is giving me all sorts of life on Glasgow Shame weekend

What an absolute dog's dinner.

:D

God Courtney Act really is shit

I'm still behind. Last episode my favourite BenDelaCreme sashayed away. :( Now hoping Bianca would win.

I've also been rather attracted to the semi-retarded Joslyn. There's something quite endearing about her. :disco:

She was cute and it was heartbreaking seeing that cunt Courtney being mean to her.

To be fair to Courtney, she was more talented and polished than Joslyn. Which is, judging by the Courtney video above, a damning indictment on Joslyn.

Well I for one am still excited about Courtney's debut single written and produced by Jake Shears & Sam Sparro.

I'm with you RS, I totally warmed up to Joslyn too.

But girl, you're so behind with show!

Yeah, I always fall for the useless, slutty girls. First Carmen and Phi Phi and now Joslyn. I'd also want to fuck the shit out of Adore as a boy.

I've been dipping in and out of the Season 7 Cast Speculation thread on reddit and apparently not!
