Howdy y'all.

Absolutely pissing it down here, "localised flooding", huge puddles in the potholes in the roads being driven into at speed by gleeful lorries and several dead umbrellas due to the wind. Mine included. RIP Tesco brolly.

Struggling with motivation this week, despite me actually being good at the weekend. Should have just got shitfaced.

Woke up at 6 to go to the gym, decided that was a really silly idea whilst off work, so went back to sleep and just woke up about 20 minutes ago.

Grim here too and can't think of anything more exciting than going record shopping, so that's what I'm going to do :disco:

This kind of weather requires a bacon roll. With brown sauce.

The only time I genuinely enjoy egg is when it's part of some kind of breakfast sandwich.

Good Morning all. I am heading out to Broughty Ferry in a bit. Not really the weather for it, but I am not going to walk across the beach unfortunately.

I only tends to use them for international stuffs nowadays. I feel OK about it tho' because my standing order puts more in the coffers than my usage of the link ever did.

Record shopping this morning has been a TREAT with a number of gems (thank you, dear gay) and now I’m just waiting for my car to be cleaned and then I’m off to the gym.

JUST SO YOU KNOW

I need to get some of that soft, spreadable chorizo from the Spanish deli, assuming Farm Foods don't stock it yet. Some of that smeared on a plate with a poached egg on top is giving me a semi just thinking about it.

Sobrassada - amazing stuff. My pancakes last night were based on a crepe I used to have from the creperia under my office in Ibiza, sobrassada, honey, goats cheese and nuts. I couldn't find anywhere that sold sobrassada over here though.

Suspicious package at my work, a road closed and multiple buildings evacuated - but NOT MINE :oi:

We had a place here that sold it but it closed down. We do have another Spanish deli which opened the end of last year. I've not been yet, but could manage it with a slight diversion tomorrow.

Fingers crossed. The combination of it and runny egg yolk is one of the nicest I've ever had.

I'm starting to regret that thread title, I might have the rozzers at the door shortly.

I am watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and the question is what was the Spice Girls second number 1? The poor guy has used all of his lifelines on this, and the audience seemed to think it was 2 Become 1. Very entertaining. :D

He got to 32k without using a lifeline and had to use all four on that question. :D

I'm going to find somewhere online selling it right now. See also nduja
There's a lovely Italian deli near me with best nduja. I'm going to have to investigate that Spanish stuff that you mentioned as well.

I wouldn't really know to be fair.

It’s strange because when the questions get up to 32k plus I usually don’t have a clue. I did enjoy The Spice Girls, but I religiously listened to the charts and was a real chart geek that seemed to know the peak chart position of any song asked of me.

POINTLESS KNOWLEDGE.
