JaRk.FM 2nd EDITION (TONIGHT 6.30PM)

from this point (Jayda G) our Youtube listeners will be one track ahead for the next 25 mins or SO

I'm completely obsessed with Both of Us. I just discovered Jayda G like last week or something and all of her tracks have this similar chirpy piano-house energy with that really soulful vocal and lots of BVs cut and spliced here and there.

it's a banger from the word go, but this bit in the middle where the tempo dips... to a quarter time... and then it all EXPLODES BACK IN like a fabulous drunken party guest in a fur coat who demands that WE ALL START DANCING RIGHT NOW. oh god it's so amazing.

I mean in the first 20 minutes you've had Tensnake, Disciples, Joe Goddard and Georgia. I'm STANNING.

"the sun is coming out now, and I just wanted to soak up some rays. I'm a bit white at the moment, I'm not very tanned. but I'm CHILLING OUT."

Relatable.

the HORNS in this Ricky Razu track are so HOT! makes me want to go BE A SLUT on a PRIVATE ISLAND frequented by WEALTY TOURISTS. Sugar daddy applications OPEN.

This has hallmarks of old school US Garage... almost Frankie Knuckles... not quite as meaty but similar beats and instrumentation. Big yes from me.

Toddla T wisely doesn't fuck with this track too much - her voice was MADE for dance music

This Horse Meat Disco track is very acid jazz. Getting 1993 vibes.

Sam Sparro's last album was fabulous if anyone is interested.

I tried the singles from Sam Sparro's last effort @funky but the only one that left an impression was Everything - am I missing out on any DEEP CUTS?
