sorry to go back 17 pages but the motion sickness thing has always fascinated me. Reading in cars and on buses has always given me the most horrible nausea. It’s a unique sickness, it makes me go weak and clammy and takes a while to get over it. Can come on in minutes too. However despite being that sensitive, it has no effect on planes or trains, I can sit backwards in any vehicle no problem, and I’m fine on boats. Driving never any issue. And these avatars don’t bother me at all.

All this just to say that I’ve ruined @RJN ‘s theory. I always thought it was an inner ear thing but maybe it is peripheral vision?
