Kylie at Radio 2 Live in the Park

These abridged versions of On A Night Like This and Wow got me thinking that if she is going to cover material from both Disco (at least two or three) and Tension then some of the old tour staples are going to have to be cut or medleyed.

"This is Tension. LOSE. YOUR. MINDS."
:disco:

Hopefully!

OMG.
KIDS DEAD
I HAVE CRY

Is it too early to start fantasising about the crowd singing back "Oh oh oh oh oh" to Kylie during You Still Get Me High? :disco:

Oh I just got to Hold On To Now :disco:

Savvy Kylie getting the big confetti canons out to make a moment for the song the audience don't know.

How did I miss you were all in this thread?

It might be the gin or the andropause, but I'm really quite emotional

I like how these 'at the BBC' shows pull things like Strictly performances from the archives. Shame it's Two Hearts featuring Anton Du Beke, but you can't have everything I suppose.

I'm a bit behind, never seen this perf before. Brenan cole gyrating to 2 Hearts is not something I want to see. Not a bad perf though, her make up was on point, even if the LEAD SINGAL was not

Yes, I used to watch religiously after school, it was live, alot went wrong, 7pm on BBC3 or whatever it was called at the time, BBC+?
It was BBC Choice it was on originally, wasn't it? And then that was rebranded to BBC3.

Slightly OT:

That's right, they used to have a later show on too where i first saw Gina Yashere the comedian.

Liquid news was quite great though, it was a good promo spot but also Christopher was dry and cutting so it was fun too, I think people like a younger Claudia Winkleman, Iain Lee were the go to step ins, I can't remember who was on when S Club were marched off as they were asked about pay, will have to youtube now...

I am on a bit of a delay but just up to Never too Late, this video, rather than this 'live' was and still remains one of my best Kylie singles.

Aww. You know it is more than just Kylie.

It's about all the flack I copped as a 10/11 year old for being a fan. And yet 36 years later she's still here and absolutely killing it. Look who had the last laugh. I honestly couldn't be more proud of her.

That Never Too Late performance was joyous.

I asked somewhere else when Kylie and Venol were an item, as she worked with him for quite a few years. I think we can safely say they had it going on at the time of that Going Live GMJALMT performance. He was all over her!

I remember thinking 'Please Stay' was such a limp single, it reached #10 but that was quite low for her then, especially when I went to THE CONTINENT and saw they had Your Disco Needs You :D

I'm trying to remember if he featured in the video for Celebration. It was probably after she split with Zane O'Donnell, so around that time, yes.

I've never understood the appeal of it frankly.

I think this I Believe In You TOTP performance was filmed the same day as the Christmas Minogue Medley, but we arrived too late for it.

I see I Believe in You as such a crossroads in terms of eras. I love the song but sometimes its hard to look back around this time.

Showgirl is difficult to watch. The video for I Believe In You isn't particularly special so not missing much if you skip it.

I remember fancying Jason for the first time when he revealed his short hair for the first time. Such a shame he has the dancing ability and stage charisma of a plank. I assume he improved by the time of Joseph.

Don't Stop Me Falling on the ONE SHOW? I'm already falling :disco:

Jokes aside, I do think this is a good single and the video she looks majestic, when I thought no matter how good she can be, she won't get another hit!

Such a shame there was nothing from Disco they could include.
