All those pro-Israel people voting for 06 tonight withouth even watching the show, does this mean Lithuania is winning the televote now?

Cornaald Maas from the Dutch broadcaster claiming the incident ‘barely amounts to anything’.

Did he just tell somebody to fuck off or something?

Either they’re incredibly stupid or he’s done something way out of line?

I don’t know, it feels like considering the situation, surely they’d let almost anything pass to avoid further division and accusations. 😕

Obsessing over the drama is literally a coping mechanism considering it feels like tonight is an existential threat to the contest
I can't get into the nitty gritty of it all. The headlines are horrible and are completely over shadowing the event.

Given that he's out for allegedly threatening a female, I would be amazed if other countries withdrew over that and not the other elephant in the room.

I can understand why the EBU felt they had to disqualify him. In any work place you'd be facing a possible suspension over an allegation of gender-based violence. Most take a zero tolerance approach. I just don't understand why they took so long to make any decisions and let speculation run wild. From the outside looking in, they've handled it all terribly.

It HAS to be Israel- related, though, or they would surely have made that statement. And other countries would never consider withdrawing over him just abusing an employee.

They've also said it didn't involve the Israeli delegation, but it could still be something like a planned graphic or similar being censored that led to the incident

Israel is gonna smash the televote and win tonight right? The perfect ending for this shit show, to be honest.

I still think not letting him perform was the worst thing they could get away with as long as police is still investigating.

There were some big scandals within our public broadcaster in the last few years. If it really was that bad I believe we would have withdrawn ourselves.

Are they even going to show the Dutch result in the semis or just pretend it was never there?
