The way it didn't even hesitate or give me back sth ambiguous

Oh Marina, not ChatGPT as a professional counsellor!
Oh who hasn’t been dressed as corn having a terrible time?
This is exactly what THEY want you to think. When the aliens do come (if they aren't here already), they want us to think it is fake, but I'LL KNOW BETTERThe scary part is the comments in which a large portion of people don’t know it’s AI… even the ones that have aliens or giant monsters in, they’re asking “is this real?”
Please make me an image of phones on a stand in a neutral setting. Make it classy and sophisticated.
- OK here you go!
Can you make it more like a museum and less like a shop?
- No problem!
Can you add a white background?
- OK!
I think AI is also learning how to gaslight us. Drive us all mad so when it wants to swoop in as the superior race we're nothing but husks of humans with fried brains. I had a full on argument with it once because I asked it to give me the results of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest and after about 7th place they were just completely wrong. When you correct it it says "You're right! Sorry about that" then gives you a list with one correction but even more wrong things than it had before. It's like a USELESS COLLEAGUE.
No shade, but I read this posts three times and I’m still confused, no wonder the robot was as well!I had an argument past weekend cause I asked it to imitate the sound a mum cat does to call her kittens (couldn't find them) and it said it can't imitate that yet went on to give me a full lecture of how I should imitate mom's call for the kittens. Then I told it I don't want to it to imitate, I want it to read the calling sound out loud without comments before or after and readjust its tone as per instructions it gave me. And then it did imitate it and I said see it wasn't that hard and then it said it's happy to be of help.
No shade, but I read this posts three times and I’m still confused, no wonder the robot was as well!
I just asked AI to pretend to be an angry Frenchman explaining the post to a fellow angry Frenchman.C’est censé être une traduction ça? Parce que ça omet clairement de l’information du texte original. Ou alors c’est toi qui me gaslight espèce de girafe à la con!
This is an English forum! We are loyal to Queen Charles here!
I'll have you know I'm extremely cultured. I went to Rome in 1959 and ate pizza!!!@Mary Whitehouse would not be happy with all this foreign stuff
Based on the first 4 minutes, it's a bit shit and may as well be our Jason being interviewed by a series of pre-recorded voice notes for all the seamless human interaction it gives
Wasn’t it victim to a cyber attack shortly after this?
Also, I think it is self censoring results relating to Tianmen Square? (apologies for skim reading articles on X)
Merged them, but kept the longer title as it is easier to search forI couldn't find an AI specific thread but I think we need one.
I'm talking about AI and the impending change it will bring for all of humanity, not AI-slop of people in plastic packaging or whatever. I'm talking about the broader, industrial revolution-sized impact that is looming in the near future.
There is a growing consensus that we're a year or two away from having AI that can code better than the best humans, and that will be a turning point, as those models can start to work on building new models, and so on.
A fascinating forecast was released recently, called AI 2027. It's not just speculative fan fiction, it's been drawn up by 100 experts using data and modelling based on our current rate of development. I read it last night and then woke up and read it again, because this shit fascinates me and frightens me in equal measures.
I thnk it overplays the US/China dominance and the forecasts beyond 2027 are a bit wilder, but I expect the predictions they've made up until the end of next year will be fairly spot on.
We're either heading towards a beautiful utopia or the most dystopian extinction, and I don't think there is much light or shade in it.
Are we all going to end up jobless?
