Loving this new discovery, new album out now:



Technically a funk album, you can hear the Erykah Badu vocal influences but musically it's closer to 70s Diana Ross, Rufus & Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, Minnie Riperton et al. Has the potential to be as good as my favourite neo soul album of recent years, Ari Lennox's Shea Butter Baby.

Oh, that production is EVERYTHING. I still have to get used to her voice, but I especially love Marigold.

It's also giving a bit of Jill and Jazmine

Yeah the production is a real standout. Apparently she's a multi instrumentalist so she probably had a big hand in the arrangements.
