AS5 E07: Stand-Up Smackdown

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT LIP SYNC?!? :D

I screamed in excitement when Kennedy turned the corner, and then they gave her THAT?! Even the judges seemed completely bemused.

OK episode. Begrudgingly,Cracker did do very well in the challenge. I wondered if we were going to get a Naomi/Manilla moment and she'd boot Shea, but Blair was the only reasonable choice.
 
I almost expected Ru to say that no one won that lip sync. But it indeed looked like they asked Kennedy to not even try.


What do we think that phone call was about? Will they bring back the eliminated queens? How many episodes are left? Because this is the first time they don’t have a make over challenge.
 
The trailer for the next episode showed that the eliminated queens are back, but presumably just to stir the pot a bit.
 
Even throwing that, Kennedy didn't lose.

Not a great episode. Miss Cracker was the rightful winner, but I don't need the other slots to be riddled with echoing rattled sound effects and cut-to's of audience members to make them look worse than they probably were.

Blair wasn't great and her runway was the week 1 contestant who we won't get rid of for ages simply because they're identified as the uber outcast "weirdo" who people just don't get, etc. If Shea was read, she should have been read too.
 
What a horrible choice of lip sync.

As a Cracker apologist I'm happy to see her proving herself doing what she does best. Her Snatch Game was sadly overthought out rubbish but she's been nailing it everywhere else.

Strong top if predictable top 3.
 
I thought Blair and Shea were the two weakest on the runway, but that Shea was the clear worst. She did look great in the challenge, but she's been so inconsistent on the runway itself that I'm not exactly filled with confidence for the final. And for Shea that feels like a real failing.
 
Even Kennedy (who looked incredible) looked pissed off having to perform Fancy :D why bring back a noted high-energy lipsync queen for THAT!

I could have done without the section of Shea belching. HATED Blair’s runway, and forgot she was there for most of the ep tbh. Should have kept Alexis for another week.

Juju’s runway must have been such a pain to pack :D Juju spent some money on that - shame she forgot to put a wig underneath
 
Such a waste to bring the dancing diva of Texas back for that!
On the whole though it was a good episode. I wanted more from Juju but the result was fair, I’m excited for the top 3 finale.

unsure what role the returning queens will make but if it’s any kind of popularity vote then bye Cracker.
 
Juju has to either come third AGAIN or win, surely?
 
Well third for a third time is irresistible, surely? And if she isn't that, just give her the crown!
 
I was kinda willing Cracker to vote Shea out so that Juju can win. :D

Shea really underperformed this week, definitely on the runway.

But Blair literally looked like Aiden Zhane. It was awful.

Cracker was fine but even with a more polished set than Juju, I still laughed at Juju a lot more.
 
Cracker was the most natural during the challenge. I have to admit she’s grown on me.
 
The swampy looks suit her. Long wigs with shapeless flowy dresses.

Yeah she seemed most at home, but I can't help my predisposed dislike of her. Jujubee can make me laugh by just frowning or rolling an eye or basically ANYTHING.
 
I still love Juju but surely it’s Shea vs Cracker FOR THE CROWN. And I can’t see anything beyond the former at this stage, to be honest.

How did 67k people watch this series and come to the conclusion that Cracker should win? Are they all just massive racists?
 
Well. That episode was... 60 minutes. I'll say that much.

I really hate Ms Cracker's body shape. Those arms suggest under-development in the womb. And she... is... not... funny.

I wonder if Shea thinks Cracker deserves the win then, since she has the most wins, she never seems to stop talking about the trauma of not winning (on All Stars where nobody has won), that’s the thing that’s making me go off her at the moment.
 
I feel for Shea as she's obviously having it brought up and eagerly playing ball by responding to it. Just remember the Val Cherish "I got it" scene: it really does explain everything :)
