Ava Max was like the light at the end of the tunnel out of the 2010s for me. I really didn't like that decade overall for music.

no, far from her best. it's a fun song though, and the line in chess a king can move one space at a time, but Queens are free to go wherever they like is a little bit legendary.

I am a huge Ava fan but this is one I never listen to. It just not that MAXXXX.

I need to let Diamonds & Dancefloors (THAT'S ALL I WANT!) marinate a little longer. There are so many candidates for Ava's true MAX track.

But Kings & Queens remains undeniable as well. I'll always remember it as one of the songs that I hammered in Summer 2020 after being released from a lengthy hospital stint.

From her early wilderness years, I think I would choose Torn or Salt over this
