BBC Radio 2: Your Ultimate Kylie Song

I'd like to know what the numbers were like for voting. I can't imagine R2 casual listeners bothering too much, so it probably is an "accurate" snapshot of a couple hundred ageing gays' opinions?
There is no way, if actually fans, irrespective of their age, had voted in this that some of these songs would feature - particularly as high as they do.

This strikes me as voting predominantly coming from casuals and Karens.

No way is Spinning around her second best, and Padam Padam is only so high because of the storyline around it.

I might switch on to see if he plays Santa Baby in full on August bank holiday!

I like Give Me Just a Little More Time but REALLY? Who on earth would vote it into their top five Kylie releases EVER?
I do wonder if having the full list available to choose options from in the voting encouraged that (and Santa Baby) into higher positions, because the more casual voter may have just chosen them because they know the song, more than loving Kylie's version of it. Because I struggle to think anyone who is anything more than a mild Kylie fan choosing either of them.

Yes, I worked from the bottom up and realised the list very much wasn't for me very quickly indeed.

I read it the other day and 2 Hearts being a place above What Do I Have To Do rendered it NULL AND VOID for me

LAFS '88 being 163//170 is what immediately pissed me off. I think they had '88 and '01 the wrong way round.
