[Complete!] 105 sad songs (90s-00s)

Here are a few more that I love from the 90s too! I dunno if 68 is sad but it breathes life and feeling into my decaying old heart in a manner that suggests it is.

67. 'No Surprises' - Radiohead

68. 'At My Most Beautiful' - R.E.M.

69. 'Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space' - Spiritualized

70. 'The Promise' (Studio Outtake from Tracks) - Bruce Springsteen

71. 'Look on Down from the Bridge' - Mazzy Star (obv 'Fade Into You' as well but no one talks about this one)

72. 'No Distance Left to Run' - Blur

Okay, I'll stop, sorry! I like sad songs. Those first four legit break me.

Better off without that piece of shit as a father.

Obviously I don't think it's better that he died. Adoption might have been better.

73.

According to this 2022 poll the saddest of all time (though there are sadder REM songs)

80.

💙
(The song itself, but I like the beach, Orange seems okay, and Mark as 4th Doctor Who 😊)

It somehow leads me onto this song that I've known forever :D
88.

💙

I think this sounds more sad/desperate, but I like the final/clean/radio version best. ♡

Okay 90s/00s children's shows
91. "Someday I'll Win" (Someday the theme tune is more happy/cool but this seems more sad, at least near the beginning 🥲)

92.

Lonely This Christmas inspired (then happy at the end :D)
