A rare example of a climber in the '99 charts, plus it ended up outselling many #1s despite stalling at #2 for several weeks. Also unusual in the CD single not featuring the radio edit - did they not expect it to be a crossover hit?

Have an ultra-short TOTP edit with an inexplicable number of washing lines:

Or the official video:

10 doesn’t do this justice but yet it’s not even their best song (Back in My Life)

I've never seen that video before, the one we got was a lot moodier.

Anyway, like all of their singles, it's a 10.

I know most dance acts around this time were pretty ephemeral, but the fact that they had five solid hits and a strong-selling album and didn't even attempt to milk it any further was quite puzzling.

It does give them a satisfyingly neat discography though. Those five singles are pretty much IT.

I loved the album at the time :D

Love, devotion
Sun, the ocean
Colours, emotion
ELEMENTS OF LIFE!

I’m sure there was a song on the Alice Deejay album which was almost identical to a song on the second Vengaboys album.
