It’s a good job Nottingham withdrew from the host city race as you lot that hate her would have been seeing her a LOT MORE!
 
France, Germany, Spain and Italy are drawing their halves in the final today too.

EDIT: Apologies in advance if that’s fake news, but I’m pretty sure I read they were doing that on Timur’s dreadful TikTok thing after their rehearsals.

I believe Sooty Soldi and Friends are attending the two jury shows for the semis, so tonight and Wednesday :disco:
 
I’m trying to post pictures from my phone but they’re all uploading sideways or upside down so you’ll just have to IMAGINE me walking around town today :(
 
Montenegro and North Macedonia are both showing all 3 shows live which is a good sign for interest for a return. Slovakia also have coverage of the final on a radio station, but they have done since 2013.

Serbia meanwhile are relegating the show to one of their broadcasters secondary channels out of respect for the school shooting victims from earlier this week.

Seems so. Their participation is a bit weird as it's very reliant on whether someone in government is interested in allowing funding for it, it's a bit all or nothing. Bosnia have also said they won't show it this year. I'm mostly pinning my hopes on this new Monégasque channel coming into existence in time for 2024 :disco:

Someone on the ESCInsight podcast that @Lost in VoRona hosted was speculating that they've been forced to try something different as this year's green room isn't big enough to manouevre the cameras around for the required shots.
 
I've got an open mind to see if they manage to do it with some sort of decency and positivity, but if it ends up being as mean as everyone's expecting I hope they change it back sharpish.
