Eurovision 2025: Confirmed Entries (1 Viewer)

Croatia and Serbia dropping the ball over the past 7 days has really hit this lineup. I'd be feeling a fair bit more optimistic with Bojana x David and Nipplepeople in this roster.

Based on what we have heard, nothing screams winner so far which is a good thing as it feels pretty open. However, this is worrying if Mans does win for Sweden as he’ll probably win the whole thing.

Current bookies top 10

1. Sweden
2. Austria
3. France
4. Netherlands
5. Finland
6. Estonia
7. Belgium
8. Israel
9. Czechia
10. Ukraine

I have a feeling about France. I can't imagine Belgium will be too pleased to see Austria turn up with that.

First couple of revamps confirmed:

Sunday 9 March
Montenegro

Thursday 13 March
Spain

The last 30 seconds of Austria is just Strobe Lights isn't it?
Also if 'nailing really impressive high notes' is a big pitch to the juries, it's hard to see how it doesn't blow it out of the water (and feel a touch more up to date musically too).

That Montenegrin revamp better be more the kind where they've essentially torn out all of the internal walls and redesigned the entire house, rather than a light repaint and a flowerbox at the entrance.

NOT THAT I SUBSCRIBE TO THIS ENTIRELY PREDICTABLE BURST OF MID-MARCH DOOMERISM.

But this did make me laugh.

Did we have much mid March doomerism about song quality on here the last two years?

It usually tends to be in mid Feb does it not?

Don’t worry, I’m sure Georgia will come and save it with a far right anthem

I’m half expecting Georgia to field a Kirkorov joint now that they’re firmly back in Russia’s orbit.

Georgia’s is pretty boring apparently, both from a musical and propaganda point of view.

Unless France goes mental and send something in Mandarin or something, this will be the most French we’ve heard in the contest since 1979 (France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, plus parts of The Netherlands and Israel).

Also of the 34 songs chosen so far, 17 of them are in languages other than English, with another 4 having significant parts in other languages (no I'm not including bloody Malta in that).

How does that compare to recent years?
