She did a really good job of revisiting a stone groove smash hit wonder and Brandy sounds fab (but what's the point)

It's alright. I like the new bits she added, especially the whistle at the climax. And her voice sounds less thin and strained than usual.

I can barely hear Brandy though. Mariah said "You finna sit in the BACK"

I love it. I guess the point is it’s a vanity project for her, she has an enduring love for the song, it’s her personal favourite and has felt there’s been a lack of a moment for it (despite being a clear lamb fave) with the labels refusal to support it as a single so good for her. It’s gorgeous.

I saw that The Roof had its best streaming day ever. While I'm here for it getting its flowers, I love that it's the definitive deep cut of all of music history.
