Mighty Hoopla 2025

I bought tickets for the two days after this year’s on a whim as I had such a great time but this lineup is a bit shit. Is it likely to sell out do we think?

Ciara to do the whole “Ciara” album please with a “Rooted” encore

The line up is giving me the Prides in London I went to back in the mid 90s.

I'm DEFINITELY out. All my usual Hoopla gang are full on "UGH" as well at this shower of shite.

I've booked the Sunday because I would have spent more going to see Kesha and Loreen separately (in my moneysavingexpert era), but skipping the Saturday because Ciara and JoJo don't pass the 'would I stick around to watch them in the rain?' test.

(Or in fact, my 'would I stick around to watch them in glorious sunshine?' test).

Shampoo should have been asked given they're back. Berri is back too (song is amazing btw). It's not like they didn't have options.

Vincint on the line up is :disco::disco::disco:

Saturday a whole lot more appealing than the Sunday for me

What a hilariously SHIT lineup!

I’m more interested though in why MUTYA is doing a solo set?

Are they on another BREAK?

Mutya has never stopped doing Pride gigs etc on the side. it's easy money and she's a hun! you think those talons pay for themselves?

Kesha was a fantastic headliner, you won't be disappointed; she's fun and she got back-to-back hits (plus Raising Hell and Only Love 🥴 )

All ticket types available apart from the group 6 for 5 one

Could be wrong but I think that’s slower than previous years…

Nah I don’t think any of them ever sold out this far in advance. At least not this side of Christmas.

I don’t know about this early but I distinctly remember the year before last we missed some of the earlier tiers and I bought tickets for a Christmas present so they had to have been done by then…

Oh, yes some tiers of the various ticket types had sold out for sure (although I was always sceptical about how many were actually made available in the early tiers) but they seem to be doing it differently this year with the early tiers being sold in the summer then taken off sale completely until today.

Big meh for me, so don’t think I’ll bother. The day itself is fun, but I need at least two to three ‘would pay to see on their own’ type of acts to justify it/put myself through it, and I don’t think there is a single act there I would do that with (again - I’ve seen Jojo twice, and she is fine, but that’s enough). Some decent enough names but certainly not giving the 80s - early 2000s stuff that I’d prefer over Erika Jayne or Ciara.

I have Kylie on the Monday too, so that’ll fill the gay music part of the weekend.

I tend to use "I wouldn't go and see [insert artist] if they were playing in my kitchen" but that is very good!

With that line up they really need to start announcing surprises that are not DAMP SQUIBS.

How Dare You Greta GIF

Oh I love them, but not enough to convince me to go I don’t think. I’d love it if they did another gig in London on their own, but I can’t really see that happening.

Yes I remember Samantha Mumba being unexpectedly good a couple of years back.
