Fine by me, this was my favourite so far!
 
Based on his moves I'm starting to question whether he knows semaphore at all.
 
To be honest, I don’t blame them for making this decision. It’s been a long time coming and if it wasn’t for the fact they have had so many returning acts or artists with generous benefactors (Gordienko, DoReDos and Natalia Barbu) representing them, it would have happened sooner I think.
 


According to Moldovan press, TRM TV selected BACHO and Carnival Brain as representatives, but the group refused after being offered only travel expenses. Other artists also protested, leading TRM to withdraw from the competition.
 
Isn’t that an improvement over the usual Moldovan terms? I thought they only got their flight back paid for if they did well.
 
Also I suspect it got scrapped given they scrapped top ten autoqualifying a country the year after that year. Plus, costs outside travel have gone up massively since 2007. Back then nobody really spent anything on most of the performances.

Poor Kalomira famously had to pay her hotel expenses herself as well and still was very happy to do it. What did they expect?

The regulations for their national selection this year actually state that the winner’s airfare and accommodation costs would be covered by the broadcaster. This would have been the first time that they cover these kinds of costs for their artist.
