KOM OCH HÅLL OM MIG NU!

Surely three of the greatest minutes in Eurovision-adjacent history?

I think I got bewitched by the lyrics alone on first listen, without even knowing what any of them MEANT. How could you NOT be seduced by the word FÖRHÄXAD? :disco:

I don't know how it would have coped with an English translation, but it very obviously would've done EONS BETTER than fucking Las Vegas.

The dance after the glory note around 2:30 is one of the greatest things ever to happen on a Scandinavian stage :disco:

Nanne's vocals are flawless. Even Avundsjuk sounded good :D.

While I am still a bit pissed off with that fucking jury TEN YEARS LATER, the fact that this didn't win has propelled it into an even bigger classic, and 'the one that got away'. I do wonder just how well it would have done in Kyiv. Perhaps lower top 10?

Best Melodifestivalen track of all time for me.

Oddly, when I first heard it I thought it was 'ok'. I don't why I listened to it again a few years later and suddenly realised how wrong I was.

Revisiting this in light of her imminent comeback and my God, it remains an absolute tour de force.

As a full package I'd say it's actually better than It Hurts and Invincible. What a TRAGIC LOSS.

It’s probably the biggest injustice ever in Melodifestivalen history. It’s hard to judge it as a song now because it wouldn’t fly in today’s world.

If Ring Ring had gone to Eurovision it wouldn’t have won and it’s unlikely ABBA would have become as big as they did.

That's irrelevant in terms of whether it was a bigger injustice or not though. Never mind the fact that there's no way of knowing if it's true.

And I prefer Tu Te Reconnaîtras to Ring Ring as well.

STEADY ON!

Unless you mean their english versions, in which case you might have a point...

I almost think it’s better than My Number One, but I don’t really.
