I'm awaiting delivery of the new album released today by Obey Robots which is Laura Kidd of She Makes War/Penfriend and Rat from Ned's Atomic Dustbin. I furrowed a brow when I heard about this, then Kidd dropped the first single "Let It Snow" which is an absolute tits-out banger.

It seems the stores have had the same initial reaction as she said pre-orders from retailers were pitiful. Shame.
