Old TOTP (BBC4) (3 Viewers)

I don't remember this Level 42 song being this frantic...it's actually not bad. :o

I legit remember it. I've said before but I was banned from watching TOTP as a punishment for being naughty, so I'd just listen on my radio. It really wasn't the same.

I was actually listening when they turned on the transmitter for Central Scotland. Bros did it, Christmas lights stylee.

Touchy really isn't the finest a-ha moment.

You're right there. Harket looks thoroughly unconvinced although the others are trying to put a but of welly into it.

These reruns of TOTP have given me a new appreciation of a-ha as a decent pop group with more than just two hits.

a-ha have certainly proved vastly more enduring that those who were supposedly their peers at the time. Good songwriting - you can't replace it.

I remember "A Groovy Kind Of Love" being met with a large number of jokes involving corduroy condoms.

I would, to this day, rather be rogered by someone wearing a corduroy condom than listen to Phil Collins.

Oh there's ANOTHER episode.

Domino Dancing was such a banger. The Pet Shop Boys didn't put a foot wrong for a LONG TIME.

I hope it's Chris, because the idea of Neil having any sexual desire makes me feel uneasy.

I was remember that soul = Seoul reference in the Little Respect visual but I hadn't remembered it being too literal all the way through.

I hate Don't Worry Be Happy.

It's right up/down there with Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life as songs that are supposed to make you happy but but make me feel violent for me.

This looks like a good EP coming up

It's NOT SIMPLY A QUESTION OF GETTING HOT
It's a MATTER OF HOW MUCH HEAT YOU CAN TAKE
:disco:

Apparently this song attracted lots of GAY FANS to LA DECKER. NOT ME I'M AFRAID

PP Arnold's son is the musical director for Jessie J and Jess Glynne. She is worse than Hitler's mother.
