What do you think about the talk on What's the Tee about a Winners All stars? Those comments got some fans frothing at least
 
I'd say there's zero chance of that happening, unless it was on a non-competitive basis (and what would be the point of that?!). What would any of them have to gain from doing it?
 
I think most of them would do it apart from Bianca.
 
And Bianca is the one queen who it would feel worthless without.

I did have to chuckle at them bugging up the chances of some of the others... :D
 
I prefer Sasha Velour to Bob The Drag Queen, Violet Chachki, Tyra and Raja. Season one I've still not seen.
 
Tyra is the absolute worst! Violet has kind of grown on me since, but on her season I thought she was horrid.

I like Raja, but I wish Manila had won that one
 
Violet was a brilliant winner. Looks for DAYS, always gave it her all in the challenges, a lovely line in witty bitchiness and then THAT outfit at the Season 8 crowning :disco:

Bob was the inevitable winner of his season and probably deservedly so. He never seemed all that exciting but clearly had a whole lot more to offer than Kim Chi and Naomi Smalls.

Tyra was Ru's first off kilter winner and I've always enjoyed it for that (poor Raven). Raja was the first full on fashion queen to win and I can't begrudge her that. It feels right that she won.

As for Season 9... I would have preferred any of the other 3 to win but think Trinity really should have taken it. Sasha offers so little and central to that is the insistence that a bald head, slapping on lots of foundation and painting a unibrow is somehow groundbreaking. It's not.
 
I never really liked Raven all that much either. Tyra, Raven and Violet are all in that same batch - great outfits not really to my tastes (Violet's were the most gagworthy when not showing boy body), but their toxic attitudes really stopped me liking them

Jujubee to win! I guess there was nobody else for Season 7 though
 
Yeah, and Bob... well I don't think any of them had really perfected the whole package. Naomi was only really the outfits, Kimchi hadn't got her head together at that point, and Bob had the attitude but not the outfits (still doesn't as far as I've seen)

Would 100% have gone for a TRIN WIN, great attitude, great hair, loved those action rolls in her lip syncs, I feel like she's going to throw a grenade. Shea was great too, but that So Emotional lip sync was bland as fuck for her.
Peppermint was good TV and had good costumes, but for some reason I really didn't like her lip syncs
 
Violet did nothing for me. Cinched waists gave me nothing. I liked Bob, she was very funny, although a bit of a showboater. Raven and Bebe - meh. Sasha joins Jinkx, Raja, Sharon and Bianca as my favourite winners.
 
I'm with you on the cinching, except for the gas mask one that gagged Ariana. She at least provided some MOMENTS in her season (of which I don't count "Is there something on my face?")
 
I liked Bob on the show, and don't doubt she was the right winner. It's just that in things I've seen her in since (hosting/presenting type gigs), she has come across a little amateurish. And I think she more than any other suffers from comparison to Bianca.
 
Sasha was good but won purely on the basis of the rose petal lip sync. I agree with Christian that the more she bleated on about being intelligent and artistic, the less impressive she came across. She was always just below top at best, and mediocre at worst. And the fact that she told Ru that the thing that set her apart and she considered her USP was her intelligence and intellect in a completely non-ironic fashion over and over again during Ru's walk arounds didn't help.

The Sharon-Jinkx-Bianca trifecta has not been topped and I doubt it ever will.
 
I don't think it was purely on account of the rose petal lip sync. Don't get me wrong, that was a part of it, but I think Sasha's political slant - however hackneyed it may (or may not) have felt - fitted an agenda that RuPaul wanted to push.
 
I was behind a Sasha win from mid series. She was creative and got it just right. I never took an offence with her being intelligent and pushing said agenda. I'm with her, there's a whole gay history that basic queens and most of the straight population don't know about.

And considering how the series has exploded in the last year, the ideal time for it.
 
Aside from the fact that I am obviously a Bianca, Jinkx is actually my favourite winner. (I gag for Alaska too). I've seen Jinkx perform twice or maybe three times now, and I think she has so much stage presence, she's so funny and energetic, and she's a fantastic singer. I have a LOT of time for her.
 
Sasha got to the final four fair and square, it was a great top four really. And then what was the lip sync tournament for, if it wasn't for the tie break?

It's not like someone could've totally smashed the lip sync and then be told to sashay away based on their previous performance, in front of a live audience. It would be a disaster!
 
I think it was a really strong top four and you could have made a case for any of them winning. Whoever that was wasn't going to be the strongest winner ever, but then there have been years where the top three has felt a bit padded, so I'll gladly take it.
 
I don't know where Peppermint got this reputation as the lipsync assassin though, she was just up against garbage.

She's too frightening when she's at full speed to be entertaining. I WILL give her credit for actually doing something with the Double clap in Stronger though
 
I think Peppermint was a step down from the other three finalists, but the lip sync was amazing enough to get her into the top two...
 
The Music lip synch still gives me chills. She also did well in the finale, she and Sasha understood the game in a way the other two didn't.
