RuPaul's Drag Race

Seriously though, how did that absolute DUD Dida Ritz make it to the Top 5 in series 4? PERSONALITY VACUUM and FLAT HAIR FRENZY. #justice4kenya

Oh Sue no, just no. While Dita was forgettable, Kenya was actively shit.

Somewhere I've got an amazing gif of Kenya's head on a mosquito body buzzing around Latrice during the 'Natural Woman' lipsynch. That's all she was - an irritant.

On a side note, has Kenya transitioned too?

There was a very obvious gap in series four between the really good queens (Sharon, Chad, Latrice, Willam) and the clear also-rans (everyone else).

Definitely Dida over shitty Kenya though. That Natalie Cole lip-sync was all kinds of wonderful.

Nothing for the big-boned lass from 'Third Rock From The Sun' whose name I have temporarily forgotten? In which case, she may actually be on your list

Oh, as if I can even remember even a third of who they have all been let alone their names. Do you mean the blonde Australian one?

Edit: the one that told Detox she was too "been there, done that"? Damn, my list is null and void, she was good.

She pissed off Michelle and exclaimed 'thank god' when the deliberations were over...and she MEANT IT.

Yeah, she was good value.

Apart from Sharon being a bit too high (or in your top 10 at all) I strongly approve of your selection Suedey.

There's a bit of a feud going on between Raven and Adore at the moment.

Raven made some comments about Adore not making the effort in her performances since she did Drag Race (31 minutes here)

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/kcWdEFVqiqw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Adore's response:

If my only job was to lip sync, I would give you glamor but I'm a musician in drag. I care about connecting with the audience with my performance over dazzling them with a look & the second you start judging my art form is the second you're not an artist. Keep your eyes on your own paper. Most of my references are not glamazons. My references are strong women who wore an attitude. Not a gown. I don't care if you think my truth is an excuse. What's tired isn't my "lack of glamor". What's tired is the ugliness UNDERNEATH the glamor of others. Just before the new year starts let's leave some of this in 2014.

Team Raven. I'm a bit disappointed Adore's taking the po-faced Milk stance, as if having an off moment is actually people 'not getting it'. If Adore's going for a Courtney Love 5 minutes before being escorted off the red carpet look, which is what I saw in her anyway, it should still be done to the nth degree.

Never been the biggest Raven fan, to be honest. I'd have preferred a Jujubee win in season two.

To those posting here and have not voted in the Queen rate, vote now.

Oh I'm totally on ADORE'S SIDE for this. Raven's being like Roxxxy Andrews here. Queens come in all different forms, not just GLAMOUR.

I totally get that drag comes in all forms, but then on the other side Adore isn't known for being accepting of criticism directed at her. They way she talks about her "art" and about being a "musician" is quite laughable, you're a man in a wig. Not to take anything from the art of drag, but that's actually where she lacks. The minute you take yourself too seriously is the minute you lose all credibility as a drag queen. And no, Raven didn't do it out of malice like Roxxxy did, it was part of the web series she does with Raja.

#TeamRaven

It seems like Raven's point wasn't that Adore's style of drag was invalid, but that the quality of her costumes had significantly deteriorated since she became famous. Which seems fair really.

I see your point. Adore never really had been about the costumes though. Even on the show she didn't really wow me with her outfits. Her talents lie elsewhere. I'd much rather have someone like Adore than a queen who looks fabulous and has no personality. Like Tyra.

From what i've seen, I thought Adore had undoubtedly stepped up her game since the show. Although perhaps not to the extent of someone like Jinkx who has clearly benefited from some pointers and a bit of a BUDGET to work with.

We should do a prediction game for the order in which they'll go out based on the introducing videos.

I'm anticipating an early exit for GINGER MINJ :zombie:
