Spice Girls Reunion

There were definitely more of them, which probably doesn't help. I agree they're all fairly identikit, but nonetheless the ballads for me are where the Spice Girls were fairly consistent through the three albums.
 
Time Goes By is genuinely one of my favourite Spice ballads and Emma sounds amazing on it
 
the leaked demo A Day In Your Life wasn't much cop either! Matt & Rowe did get the best out of them when it came to ballards.
 
No Tell Me Why chat? Holler and Tell Me Why are my favourites from Forever. Tracks 1 & 2. 6-7 minutes of the album are listenable to these ears in 2019.
 
I do still LOVE Holler and think it is arguably still the most mainstream song from the back catalogue these days. It hasn’t dated badly has it?

It probably IS, but that's also probably why it's so readily disregarded. The first two albums for the most part are very much "of their time" and distinctively Spice Girls. Holler is great, but it could've been by anyone.

I agree except I’d also add “Tell Me Why” to that list.

“Forever” isn’t TERRIBLE, it’s just boring...

Shame there appears to be no solo section this time, but you never know, they may be throwing us of scent, although not sure BUNTIN would be able to be that sly

Is there any word who is the creative/director for this tour? Not heard anything, it was Jamie King in 2007. I am worried they may be giving too much creative this time round to GERU and BEH
 
If we don’t get a solo section I reckon we might get something like All Saints where all the girls are on stage and sing along to other’s songs?

Hoping and praying Geru’s mic is on for the chorus of I Turn To You
 
Bag It Up is a proper spice girls song - I'd love to see the four of them do that together. Failing that, Half of Me.
 
I don't think their EGOS would allow for solo numbers to be hijacked by the rest of the group.

Mel B is EVIL but certainly adds SPICE to the proceedings.
 
It looks like the UK dates will continue but that the planned overseas ones (which to be fair haven’t even been announced) aren’t going to happen
 
If they were never announced they're not really "cancelled" are they? Maybe tells you something about the scale of their ambitions however i.e. nil.

Geru more than happy to cream the cash off the gays for all these years (usually in return for total rubbish, I might add) but instantly throws a strop when that pesky lesbain rumour resurfaces courtesy of Mel B dishing up indiscreet goods (:disco:)

To be honest, I'm really looking forward to seeing them, but if they decide they don't want to do anything again after these shows, fine... as long as it'll keep Tory Halliwell-Horner from telling The Daily Mail that Ayn Rand was the original Spice Girl.

Bit disappointing if they do no overseas shows. Doesn't impact me given I can now see them, but for two 'reunion' tours to be cut short simply because, well, they can't be arsed - it's all a bit SHIT really.
 
It must be difficult to go out on stage and be all pally-wally with someone you absolutely hate. Imagine having to sing "friendship never ends" and be desperate to scream "BUT YOU FUCKING WILL, YA BUN" and not even being able to let the burning rage even show in your eyes because your every expression is being caught on camera to several thousand people. That';s got to suck.
