who the fuck edited this? I get the point of making an alternative version featuring the girls only flying over a city and not focus on the people living in it, but CHRIST at some bits, like the one @dUb mentioned and Geri not miming her line at all during the 1.56 mark 🥴
 
It’s fun for an alternate video. I love Emma’s ‘then polka the salsa’ bit - she looks amazing.

This Istanbul live version of Move Over on SW25 really does POP OFF

God knows what it was recorded on as the sound quality is distinctly LO FI, but it sounds worlds better than the mess from Arnhem :D

Still, I'm declaring this reissue a TRIUMPH nonetheless

The audio quality is the least of my concerns, that awful butchering is unforgivable, the instrumental intro was iconic and I Can't believe they got rid of it; all this while ripping the audio with a Nintendo Wii nonetheless!
 
Seems Never Give Up On The Good Times will be getting a push as a "single" from this awful project, 24 years later 😒 "Official video" my pants.
I wouldn't be against Purple Disco Machine wanting to remix it though, they should at least try to recover the discarded David Morales Remix just in case.

Otherwise, it could have gotten a decent chart position, SPICE25 went Top 5 if I recall correctly.

  • The live tracks are straight up youtube rip audio files and that sound awful on Spotify/Apple/Youtube, as if they were mastered with a potato,, apparently they couldn't clear rights for the master tapes(??) Releasing this shit on vinyl is really unprofessional.
  • Lack of unreleased material, I know they probably don't have a lot of demos for this one.
  • The intern in charge of choosing the live songs no doubt got some whipping, Too Much is from after Geru left :D
  • The cassette tapes have a different tracklist, they don't even feature Step To Me (But it does have its demo).
  • Etc, oh well who cares.

A MESS !!
 
The Ambient mix of Viva Forever is sublime. We need the same treatment for all their dreamy ballads, and maybe for some of their mid-tempos as well (Naked, Denying, Take Me Home).
 
This is just the video without the clips of the movie, right? It’s great to see these little extra bits. This is the first time this version has been released properly, apart from a few LQ uploads.

I would say they will one million percent do a few gigs again at some point but I doubt it will be a full on tour, and highly doubt Victoria will take part.

Must be the docu-series that were announced in 2021, otherwise Victoria wouldn't be involved at all!
 
All I can see is a bored Victoria scrolling through her TikTok feed, coming across this video, going 'hah :)' and then moving on to the next TikTok.
 
I seen that. I also saw the segment that they had on Emma saying Mel was the biggest blabber mouth - I wonder if the previous discussion was on purpose for the upcoming Mel booking as it was rather bizarre.

A couple of TV channels have mentioned this already.

Yes, I think they will do it; no, I don't think Victoria will show up unless it's just a photo op.

Victoria will be the last to admit defeat of her fashion line, besides, she's been saying she won't join them on a stage for years now that if she does it at least once then people won't believe her anymore and will keep asking which is, what I assume, the opposite of she wants.
