I fear Pete's mystifying popularity will keep him safe for now.

Two votes for Montell and one for Sarah this week.
 
They were just talking on The Rest Is Entertainment this week about how Strictly reuses costumes...

 
Montell and Sam had to dance off. :( The judges unanimously saved Montell. Sam was eliminated.
 
I guess Montell's vote isn't that strong :(

I don't think an understated dance in a very showy week helped her cause.

Sam's little goodbye dance was unique.
 
I thought it was Montell's weakest week. Or certainly her blandest week, in an otherwise strong and memorable show. I'd hope she's got another 3-4 weeks in her, but who knows? It will be a travesty if Wynne, Pete or Chris stay longer than her.

Credit where it's due: Icons Week was far better than I expected. They seem to be talking about it as if it'll come back again*, which I'd not be against.


*although I expect they did that about Strictly Around The World Week :eyes:

Luckily for Montell alot of the dances she has left are showy crowd pleasers, so she should make December.

I wonder if they will very quickly end up repeating all the same icons, though I guess they can at least do different songs. They apparently haven't been worried about duplicating dances in Musicals Week I suppose.

This! Why are they so overly critical of Sarah and Vito? Is it cause he won last year and they don’t want him to win again?
 
Considering there is no hope of Pete going this week, I would happily see the back of Wynne. Thought Shayne did a decent enough job with his Rumba, though it is a recipe for being in trouble.
 
The lights out bit was a moment, but that was just the showdance he should have done in the final.

I would be quite happy if they binned off Couple's Choice.
 
I just love Montell and Johannes.

Pete is probably going to be top of public vote tonight, dead Nan and all.
 
I still think Chris is probably topping the vote, though seeing lots of comments about Sarah and Jamie being undermarked so expect they will do well too.

I voted twice for Montell and once for Sarah.
 
The overuse of CGI tonight was JARRING. Truly dreadful.

Shayne and Wynne bottom two. Shayne eliminated on a split decision.
 
Love to see Lauren proving that she SHOULD HAVE HAD A PARTNER ALL ALONG

Poor Shayne - the dance offs seemed especially brutal on him, and fancy getting knocked out by the Go Compare Man. I do think that if he'd cut his hair for week one he might have faired better

You would hope they don't make the same mistake next year.

Though there is apparently going to be a clear out of some of the old guard, if a certain rag is to be believed.
 
Did anyone see how OFF Motsi was in the results show? she was not happy, wonder if it had anything to do with the result
