The Eras Tour — '23/24 (EU/UK on sale June 30th)

are the Brits friendly? the ones in here seem OTHERWISE (jk)

€1,400 is a lot, but there will never be another Eras Tour, and she's probably not coming back to Austria anytime soon. and what's the point of making money if we don't use it on the things that we love? i also just broke up with my boyfriend (of three years) and i need to do this to get out of town and somewhat heal. i am ready to WEEP for 3.5 hours...

I also eyed up wembley options, won't lie but yeah the pricing is insane. Such rotten luck.

At least it has been a gloriously sunny weekend. :zombie:

For those with london codes, a whole bunch of tickets dropped for tomorrow.

I was there tonight. I can't believe she didn't take into account the fact that I already experienced Ed Sheeran as a surprise guest during my date of the Red tour. She could change things up :oi:

I would KMS if he walked on stage at my show :zombie:

This was (quite literally) EVERYTHING. Flawless show from start to finish with everything going off completely hitchless. The staging, dancing, setlist, banter and general VIBES were all just comfortable and you easily forget you've been on your feet for five hours.

It really felt quite once in a lifetime. I was kept guessing the entire time what could be coming next as I've mostly stayed away from spoilers and her honouring snapshots from each album allows for some very nice surprises along the way.

Critique if I have to; the Folklore/Evermore section felt slightly long, wouldn't have minded a padded out "early" section with some more Fearless, Speak Now and at least one little nod to the debut.

And what a NICE crowd as well. I don't know if this a Taylor thing specifically, or just gen-Z in general, but I'm finding more and more that people are behaving in crowds and shoving, arrogance and drunken dancing in your personal space just doesn't seem to happen much any more. Not that I've been to MANY standing gigs recently. :eyes:

This is one of the main reasons I still feel like I'm sobering up from drinking my Vienna tears. It was the right thing to call these shows off but Christ, the bad luck of it all - truly a generational tour, probably to be mentioned in the same breath as the Bad or Drowned World tours, really.

I had a LOVELY TIME and the whole place was just full of joy. I thought people might've gone a bit low key when it got to Folklore etc but it is my fave :shy:

Not sure about hitchless though! Piano tuner was surprisingly calm under pressure when he got called on to fix the dodgy piano.

I'd forgotten about that! :D
Also the 10 minute applause after Champagne Problems was such a MOMENT

Yes and every night she does the faux emotional “omg you guys it’s only little old me” expressions.
You're just full of the joys of summer. Of course she does, and every move and facial expression is choreographed to the nth degree. It's still cheering being part of something.

At least with ABBA Voyage the fact it's identical each time is built into the show and I don't have to sit on TikTok every night to find out which TV theme Benny played on the piano tonight or whether Frida got into a fight with an audience member.

are the Brits friendly?

they are the SWEETEST! god i love the English. i made so many wholesome friends while lining up. we sang, danced, and cried together at the show and it felt like i went there with friends! the show was surreal. it was one of the greatest nights of my life.

i had a marvelous time in London, the people are very kind and friendly everywhere.

also, while i'm off-topic anyway, i hadn't realized just how FINE British men are.
