First single "Glad He's Gone" is coming next Friday it seems - album is called Sunshine Kitty. Why? It was "inspired by an episode of Girls, the title shares its name with an accompanying animated Lynx—“Lo”in Swedish—who joins Tove on this trip...", because of course.
Confirmed tracks from the album and some descriptions:
Glad He's Gone - "it's the pep talk you give your girlfriend when she's going through a break up"
Sweettalk My Heart - about "the lies a lover tells you that you both want to believe"
Bad As The Boys - 80s sound, about her first crush on a girl
R U Gonna Tell Her - neon production and Latin rhythms, it's "club ready"
Anywhere You Go - hypnotically-assured
Jacques - wild Eurodance elation, "proves she still likes to rave"
I have a suspicion this album might be really uncharacteristically upbeat, but I want at least one ice cold banger which wreaks of misery, depression and pills
