What are your TOP 5 VEGETABLES? (you may include mushrooms)

1. Broccoli
2. Cauliflower
3. Various squashes

But I like all of them except eggplant

1. Peppers
2. Carrots
3. Spring onions
4. Broccoli
5. Spinach

not including potatoes which are of course essential in many different ways... and garlic which I don't really class as a vegetable but is actually the greatest thing ever invented

I love all vegetables except broad beans (UGH) and carrots (MEH, but will happily eat them). Top 5:

1. Aubergine
2. Mushrooms
3. Swede
4. Asparagus
5. Corn on the Cob

01. Cavalo nero
02. Cauliflower
03. Broccoli
04. Brussel sprouts
05. Spinach

Not including potatoes, tomatoes and cucumber which are all essential.

Capsicum, zucchini and eggplant … are there any other alternatively named vegetables in the English language?

If I take out of my list garlic and potatoes as needless to say essentials, and exempting zucchini, aubergines, cucumber, tomatoes and peppers for technically being fruits, am taking in beetroot, asparagus and spinach.

I think we need another one for vegetably ambiguous fruits too.

I wish I liked vegetables more. I have preferences, but most of them are a necessary evil.

1 Runner beans
2 Fennel
3 Beetroot
4 Carrot
5 Asparagus

Raw or pickled ideally. Or the very minimum amount of cooking time required.

Pepper rank:

1. Red
2. Yellow
3. Orange
4. Green

Yellow and orange lack a bit of flavor for me, and green raw is not enjoyable but I do like it fine in stir fry.
