aka I woke up this morning and chose the Killers (Russia on-stage faux pas aside.)

I go through phases where I really enjoy them and others where they just get on my tits. They also have some annoying fans.

Anyway, Imploding The Mirage is not only their best album but one of the best albums by a mainstream rock band in years. Prove me wrong.

Hot Fuss Sams Town Day and Age, then it became patchy for me

Seconding the Imploding The Mirage love.

It's basically camp Bruce Springsteen.

01. Imploding
02. Hot Fuss
03. Day & Age
04. Battle Born
05. Sam's Town
06. Pressure Machine
07. Wonderful Wonderful

Sam's Town by a MILE - but I also have a lot of love for Battle Born and Hot Fuss is the soundtrack of my youth. Day and Age has not aged well and the last two I've genuinely struggled with.

God I love the Imploding album and I wouldn’t call myself a Killers fan. Not until recently anyway

No rock band has successfully embraced the 80s revival better than them on that album.

Which is ironic considering the new song is just synth overkill messy noise

My rankings:

1. Imploding The Mirage
2. Sam's Town
3. Battle Born
4. Pressure Machine (I think I need more time with it)
5. Day & Age
6. Hot Fuss
7. Wonderful Wonderful

1. Hot Fuss (especially the US version with Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll swapped out)
2. Imploding The Mirage
3. Pressure Machine
4. Sam's Town

I don't think there is much between the other three. They all have their moments.
