What is the point of TUESDAY?

God, how is anyone LESS anxious right now? I mean, GOOD FOR YOU, but FUCK ME, that's the opposite to how I'm feeling!

Yeah some of the trendier IPAs go down a treat, but I resent paying £2.50 for those tiny little cans, it’s basically the same price as drinking in a pub.
 
Although I've just been told I can't delay my upcoming term, which has kinda shit on my day.

I was already due to be in the office all weekend; Friday, Saturday and Monday that is. It's going to be so damn quiet in there.
 
I usually enjoy Easter weekend. I organise an outside party up here and we all sit and get LEGLESS on Easter Sunday. This year it is going to be such a low key affair. :(

I shall still get legless though just for shits and giggles.

Similar issues here. We’ve still got to pay up for the third term as apparently it’s all still going ahead as normal despite the fact they shut the campus down on the 17th and we’ve only been getting the odd email off lecturers. Bastards.

Even though I've nowt* to do I've just glad for from time away from work.... and I shall probably get legless too!

(*I WAS going to start the final essay for my Open University module but that's all been cancelled.

It's not just about that, though (though admittedly, being an outdoorsy person, it's not helping being stuck inside). I'm just WORRIED. About people. About the people who rely on my company for their living. About the businesses that are shut. About my parents getting coronavirus. Everywhere I look, there's something to be worried about- and I don't think I'm particularly a worrier usually either.

Don't get me wrong, far from having a breakdown or being overly anxious, but I can't say I'm less anxious than I was before!

It's BULLSHIT. I'm working on speaking to someone regarding their policy. They've offered plenty of online resources which just don't cut it. I'm not doing open Open University.

We found at our place that you really find out who your team players and hard workers are with all of this. We had a lot of talk about furlough before the decision got made and everyone basically said they didn't want to do it, but would furlough to help the company, and in the mean time they would work any hours and shifts we needed.

When it came to the furlough decision tho, luckily I didn't have to make it. It came from our CEO and all staff bar vets and 3 nurses had to take it.

I must admit...it has been quite nice. I feel bad for the staff that are working, but I'm enjoying not having to go.

My local is doing exactly that, as well as selling cans. Most people go down with a milk bottle to fill up with draft beer, I might walk down with an empty stein and drink it on the way home.

fuck them ! I’m sick of all the Facebook morons lately and their stupid posts . I would delete but I’m far too nosey . It really is the all time worse in these cases .
I’ve been having some lovely walks along the cliffs, people tend to move out the way knowingly and everyone smiles and says thank you.

With all that's going on with my dad as well as frantically trying to roll over 200-odd payroll schemes into new software that's utter shite I've been waking up around 4am every morning at which point my stomach goes into anxiety mode, all knotted up, and I then lie there on the verge of panic for the next two hours getting ten minutes' nap here and there.

Ah people have been so friendly on walks on the island too! It's been quite lovely. Until the Facebook police come out.

Annoyingly I did see a family having a picnic on the beach which I'm pretty sure isn't allowed, but I've not posted about it on Facebook.

Thanks Rita, it means a lot. I'm OK at the moment, my dad's lungs haven't got any worse and hospital said he let the carers give him a wash and change of pyjamas this morning so that's wonderful news as far as I'm concerned. I'm a tough old bird really. :D

The Tuesday blues have really got hold of me today. As I've said before, as much as having to go to work (and putting myself at risk from the environment I work/travel in) stresses me out and on some level I resent it, I also think knowing that I can legitimately leave the house and do my 'normal' (because at the moment there is no normal) job gives me a structure that keeps me sane. But it's so fucking hard. So close to phoning the office and saying 'fuck it, I'm off' lunchtime today. But then the afternoon was a little less fraught, thankfully.

I just realised that it is CALLED a Pink Moon, and the moon will not actually go pink.
