Is it a winner?

Does the fact that she has come through BBC Introducing mean we should expect a fair bit of airplay?

Catchy seems to be the recurring theme. No-one can decide if it's contemporary or dated.

The much talked of 'second listen effect' really does the trick actually. Maybe she should ask to perform it twice on the night since the naught-to-eight is really quite drastic. I'm very happy with it.

Well I can still remember it. Better than I can say for Bonnie and Englebert.

No she is from Leicester. The Scottish thing was just one of the hundreds of rumours!

Really like it. One of our best in years.

Do I think we're in with a chance? I don't know. I think it could end up absolutely anywhere on the scoreboard.

Definitely our best for years, but that ain't SAYING MUCH.

It's probably a 7/10 or so...

Love love love this. Pinch me I must be dreaming because this is NOT the BBC Eurovision department I've grown up with.

The song is super catchy, uplifting, powerful and actually just CLASSY. Mollé is a really fantastic choice of singer as well. She has moments where she sounds like a young Bonnie Tyler! :D

Oh my. That sounds like a jury vote winner. It's very Paradise, isn't it?

You can get yourself into a tizzy all you want but you're not going to win, you pack of British pricks

:D SING IT

In a post-'Euphoria' world, this is VERY POOR INDEED

It's SUB-SOX FOR GOD'S SAKE

I could hum 'Believe In Me' after one listen but I'm not exactly still PLAYING THE SEVEN INCH

I don't know if it's because of the last few years of crap but people are getting excited over THIS?!

It's no winner is it? It's the kind of song Hungary send and don't qualify.

Reminds me a little of "Sound Of Our Hearts" by Compact Disco (:manson:) from a couple of years back. Although I depressingly rather enjoyed that one... :shy:

It's a GREAT Eurovision entry and basically everything I've wanted from the BBC for the last few years.

Divisive is fine. Most Eurovision winners are. :disco:

She does give me slight LINDSAY DRACASS vibes. But I remain hopeful of a good song, and she can definitely sing - albeit possibly not in a knockout Jade Ewen way.

She sings a darn sight better than bloody Jade Ewen.

And to shit on your pie even further, VoR (love you longtime), to say Loreen had "a couple of big hits" prior to Melodifestivalen is an out and out lie :D.

I was thinking this and didn't want to try and correct him... Loreen was verging on being an unknown with 'My Heart Is Refusing Me' right? She was an absolute outsider in her heat with that song and it was a major shock she made Andra Chansen even.

Exactly. She was drawn second! Which is the graveyard slot for no hopers who are just happy to turn up!

I thought she was great in that heat. I loved the performance.

So did I - she was my absolute favourite, but I remember RB telling me she didn't have a hope cos no-one knew who she was, so I was really excited when she made AC.

Christ on a bike... this is fucking PHENOMENAL. EASILY the best entry I've heard for this year's contest. All the people saying it doesn't sound like a winner, I'm interested to know what you think DOES sound like a winner this year, if this doesn't. A winner only has to beat what it is up against - and I haven't heard anything so classy, immediate, well-performed and anthemic this year. Obviously, it will need a good draw to push it over the line, but if we could come top 5 with the dreariness that was Jade Ewen and Jessica Garlick, then this has got to be a proper challenger.

That moment of anticipation before the 3rd chorus comes in is just perfect song-writing and such a difficult thing to do. I wanted more - another brilliant thing to have.

It may have just overtaken Imaani for my favourite UK entry ever.
