Monday will kill again if given the chance

Some of us are 'WORKING FROM HOME'. I've got to have a ZOOM meeting today which I'm sure has only been set up because someone's bored and wants to nose into what the inside of my house looks like.

MORNING! Hope you all enjoy your lovely free day off again today.

I’m launching our new business today. I think I’m just going to put the website live and then go outside, because this is probably the worst time possible to be doing such a thing. :(

I've never liked laptops. A lot of people walk around our office with a laptop, up and down stairs with the thing open and it's just come to scream "wanker" for me. Close the lid, fine but leave it open and chat away to someone while you toddle down the stairs at the same rate as a stoned tortoise.

You can switch the camera off! It just comes up with a black screen with your name on it. Say you're having issues with your laptop camera.

Decided to walk the 5 miles to work today. I've got a banana for sustenance.

It rained last night, which must be the first time in nearly a fortnight. There's that lovely fresh earthy smell everywhere :)

Then I would get wrist strain from typing and mousing. Yeah I know, buy a keyboard and mouse. Haven't, alright?

I only offer you this sage advice because I've had said neck pain, and then subsequently said wrist pain. My laptop stand is at my office so I'm using a ream of paper in this difficult times.

Are you able to actually start trading now or are you just launching the site?

We've done a bit of pre-launch business, so we're trading already, but we've been doing it quietly(ish) - the plan was always to launch at the start of Q2 so we decided fuck it. I'm just trying to limit my own expectations as I doubt the phones going to be ringing off the hook when we do.

Oh we use zoom for work all the time

I point blank refuse to go on video before midday.

Sorted. If I balance the laptop on a box then you can only see a nice blank wall behind me and you'd NEVER KNOW I'M SITTING IN BED :D

Just look very flustered and pre-prepare a piece of paper saying 'SORRY GUYS, CANT GET THE SOUND WORKING'

If they make me do any of that nonsense, I'll just pop my Rainbow Dash toy in front of the camera and talk from off-screen.

OT: S Club 7 are back in the top 15 in iTunes with Reach. I’m assuming it must be Coronavirus related somehow?

Is it one of the online singalong things? They've been awful.

I will post this in here as I think @lolly is self excluded from the Coronavirus forum. The Queens speech got 24 million viewers last night.

QUEEN INDEED. :disco:

Christ. Over a third of the country. What does she normally get at Christmas?

I guess it's always the same old shite at Christmas time. Now she's switched up her repertoire, folks are interested.

Captive audience, more like. There's fuck all else to do!

You know if Phil drops dead soon, no one will go to the funeral but just think of the viewing the figures :disco:

The Queen mourning ALONE will be a tragic twist.

No slapping! Two metres apart!

I'll just get some 2 metre fish.

I'm soon going to GO LIVE from my BED full of CRUMBS :disco:

Such SLATTERNLY LIVING

Yep, still working from home. Hello, more neck strain looking down at laptop.

i’m spending a couple of hours lying on the floor using laptop once te chair gets intolerable :argh:

Insanely busy on Moopy today. You have to go back 3 pages on New Posts to see anything from yesterday :disco:

There has been a bit of a carnival atmosphere on here tonight. Spunking all of our group activities up the wall on one night was a gamble which fortunately paid off. We've only got the semi-final of lawnmower rate and 'post a picture of a poorly assembled shelving unit' to get us through the rest of the week, but I think we all need a bit of time to decompress anyway.

It’s Eurovision 2003 on Wednesday, blood was nearly shed over it at the weekend! We’re just getting started :disco:
