That's a fair comparison (with the only difference being that Chyka is LOADED, poor Robyn).

Oh final Potomac thought - that DARBY DINNER scene was pretty interesting/weird. Particularly them FINALLY admitting on camera that they have/had some sort of open marriage (to the shock of absolutely nobody).

The fourth wall break was especially odd - as they were STILL ON CAMERA. Did they honestly just sit there afterwards and finish their platter of SPROUTS? :D

The entire Darby marriage is a poorly realised Scandal subplot. A MESS.

Production really hate Michael don’t they :D Leaving in that scene of him being rotten to the producer and moaning that had to have a tough conversation on camera :D Then don’t CHEAT!

Considering he ALLEGEDLY touched up one of the cameramen of the crew, I'm not surprised. They're gonna give him the edit they think he deserves. Which makes for excellent villain-material.

Whew so holla Heather’s podcast has some JUICY T in regards to the Season 5 New York trip -

https://www.reddit.com/r/BravoRealHousewives/comments/ixpp0f/rhony_tea_from_heather_thomsons_podcast_with/

Copy and pasted cos I’m kind (in spoiler cos it’s LONG:

  • Heather says she felt like she was entering a sorority to ‘raise the bar’ of the show, Carole apparently told Heather from production experience that this is not what they were cast for. (I think Heather means that she thought they were going to make RHONY more high-brow)
  • Carole says the first time she thought she found a real friend on the cast was with Heather in St.Barth’s. Says it takes a while to find a friend because initially she was unsure of what is real or reality vs what is fake.

  • Carole says she was trying to keep it as real as possible. Heather makes a joke about Aviva not keeping it real, says she had watched the show and knew what would create good television drama. Dorinda was like that too.

  • Heather says she was earnest and naive because she didn’t know what was going on. Carole mentions how Heather helped Sonja with ‘that fake toaster oven’ –– Carole told her to stop.

  • Heather said the toaster oven was one of the funniest moments because she truly believed she would help Sonja. She said if Sonja had stuck with her everyone would have bought one. Carole says she had no intention of making a toaster oven and it was just for the show. Heather notes that this is why she was a ‘terrible housewife’ because she was a sucker every time.

  • Heather says St.Barth’s was one of the scariest filming moments. She got upset with Carole going to dinner with Aviva and Reed when he had crashed the trip, she didn’t want to be left with Ramona , Sonja and Luann.

  • Carole said the double date was supremely awkward.

  • Heather says that while Carole was on the date she was at dinner with Sonja, Ramona, and Luann. Apparently, Sonja and Luann got into ‘the sickest fight’ about the prior season––because it was breaking the fourth wall, none of it aired. Heather was shaking after the meal, and said there was a lot of stuff coming out about drugs.

  • Heather states that her friendship with Luann was not real, but she thought it was at first. When Luann and Heather met, Heather’s dad had just died. At the opening scene at Sonja’s party Heather told Luann that her dad had passed. Luann talked about her father and they had a nice conversation.

  • All of that was edited out, they cut to a talking head of Luann saying ‘not exactly good conversation for a cocktail party.’ Heather said her stomach flipped and she felt like it was cold, and she feels nothing with Luann is genuine. Carole agreed.

  • Heather says the bunch of Italian men arriving back at the villa in St.Barth’s was completely made up. Carole said she was shocked when she woke up the next morning and asked Heather what happened with Luann. She was also shocked that the women would party the way they did knowing there were cameras and producers around.

  • Heather mentions Luann’s deep voice again, and that the pirate came sliding in behind her. Luann had brought Heather a joint, and says that other things happened. Apparently stronger drugs came out and Heather said she was not into that. Luann left but they made a lot of noise.

  • Luann thought nobody knew that she brought this guy home except Heather. She came down to Heather’s room before production started filming at 7AM and laid out the plan saying what we’re going to do is say a bunch of Italians came over, Heather said I don’t care what you did but I’m not going to lie.

  • Heather said that as the cameras were going to stop rolling the next night, she was ‘running away’ from the filming and opened the door to a room with Sonja and the pirate in a precarious situation. Sonja jumped off the bed and closed the door. Heather said they had ‘party favours.’ Heather steered production away from the room. Heather then went to clean the room the next day before the cameras started rolling and said she had to ‘clean a lot of shit, no pun intended.’

  • Heather says it's all good until it's not, the partying is fun, but you’re dealing with people that are your age and it was more like college partying. Between that and the toxicity she wanted to nurture relationships. She said she was always going to fail at that mission and that’s why she left RHONY.

  • Carole says Heather got out in time.

  • Heather says she wished she had known that the cast are entertainers. Credits the longevity of the OG’s is that they are caricatures of themselves. For the newbies, Heather said Aviva had a handicap which was a storyline that she thought indicated production wanted serious storylines to balance the funny, which is what she tried to bring.

  • Carole says that Sonja, Luann, B, and Kristen all wanted to be actresses or models. They had different perspectives on the show. Heather says the cast are willing to put themselves in a bad light, do anything for entertainment, not grounded with morals in their self representation. Makes it clear that she doesn’t judge them, it’s just not for her.

  • Heather says she has relationships with everyone outside the show except Sonja. Mentions again that her friendship with Luann wasn’t real.

  • Carole says that what you’re seeing with your eyes is not what’s happening, and the edited version is even more confusing.

  • Carole says she overstayed her welcome, and that she also stayed for the money. Heather told her not to. Doesn’t regret it, but says it was a big lesson. Carole would have stayed another season if they could come to an agreement but they reached a stalemate. It was bad at the end, she’s glad it’s over.

I’m so BORED of her prattling on about how ABOVE IT ALL she was. Mama, you left FIVE seasons ago! Go holla at somebody else!

I hate Carol so much, she acts above it but she is obviously so stuck on the show (just look at her twitter). She did indeed overstay her welcome with her boytoy and imaginary books that never got written :goodgrief:

I was going to write a post that according to a blind item going round BROWN WIND has split from her husband...but then I realised I DIDN'T REALLY CARE!

What will happen to their 120 children? And she’s supposed to be the one to root for this coming season in comparison to all the other trump horrors.

The Secrets Revealed episode of BH was well worth a watch this week, for two bits. One in which we get the full BRAVO BRAVO FUCKING BRAVO scene which was teased in the trailer for the series but never actually made it in. Watching the producer shout at Denise to sit back down and "get back to reality" is quite something.

And also for the batshit story of Kyle thinking she's found some of her stolen jewellery via Diane Keaton's Instagram. Which has now taken on a life of its own since Wednesday evening, via TikTok of all places.

That Potomac fight was pretty tough to watch. I assumed they’d cut away from it and we’d see nothing but the camera didn’t move an inch :D Candiace could have really done some damage with that glass :o
