I want Julia Davis to star in the Danielle Staub biopic. There is something very Jill Tyrell about her.

If I could choose ONE HOUSEWIFE for a noted Hallmark REAL LIFE STORY high drama adaptation, I think Danielle Staub would comfortably be my number one by SOME MARGIN!

I love that she has an IN HOUSE SAUNA to STEAM THE SINS away! :disco:

I’m surprised Juan agreed to shoot the therapy scene in this week’s Potomac, he normally seems like he’s being FORCED TO FILM for the cheque only. It’s probably the most he’s EVER SPOKE.

It seemed surprisingly genuine too, and I normally hate Housewives therapy scenes.
 
Oh my god Michael is such trash. I kinda felt bad for Ashley at the end but only momentarily since I remembered that she’s pregnant with baby no 2.

The editing with Monique’s evil laughter at the end :D truly the best editors.
 
Yeah my sympathy was short lived when it went straight into the end title card telling us she had let that freak impregnate her again!
 
I was SCREAMING at yet another hideous outfit from Gizelle through the engagement party - and there were SO MANY LONG SHOTS of it where you could soak up every monstrous detail :D

The engagement itself was actually really lovely? I think Robyn and Juan might be my favourite Housewives couple, and Robyn has been great this season.

Michael Darby brings it every season doesn’t he :D He’s enough to make you homophobic despite not even BEING GAY! :eyes:
 
Right now though I’m stuck working my way through every episode of ‘Space Ghost Coast to Coast’.

I know they're limited with Covid and all but Christ this is the worst season of Cheshire yet. I don't care about Seema and her ongoing quest for a storyline. Nicole and her thick-as-shit husband can go. Tanya's barely in it and by the looks of it, hasn't filmed with Dawn Ward all season. Hannah's getting the most screentime and it's nothing but baby talk. Time to put this show down I think.
 
But what a finale for Potomac! Michael Darby being creepy af and acting like a crazy ex over Juan getting engaged. I hope Ashley is playing a long con with this guy and plans to wipe him out financially because after his behaviour at that party (and everything up to now) I can't see why she's staying with him. The maniacal laugh from Monique at the end and crocodile tears from Candiace yet again. The editors need to win an Emmy, they've done a fab job this season.
 
That Potomac finale was brilliant stuff.

And that final talking head from both Monique and Candiace was the perfect ending to that storyline - wrapping it up just as it needed to be.

This was FAR less cringeworthy than I originally thought it was going to be. I don't know. Robyn's one of the people I genuinely root for in a non-ironic way within the RH franchise universe.
 
I thought the OC covid episode was good. Next week looks like it will end Kelly Dodd.
 
I’ve gone back to the early years of the OC. Currently on season 5 where Alexis Bellino has joined the cast and brought religious fundamentalism to the show and women back 50 years.

She was horrific in the beginning, but I ended up really liking her by the end. She's quite charmingly quirky.

And thankfully she ended up divorcing that absolute monster of a husband. For a hot younger adonis, no less - that she's still with today.
 
Distraught at the news that Dawn Ward has left Real Housewives of Cheshire. But intrigued to see what the show will become without her. We might even get Ampika back now :disco:
 
I suppose being charged with possession of Class As was the last straw for ITV.

Will be interesting to see where they take the show now. I hope they take the opportunity to cut off some of the dead wood like Seema, Rachel, and Tanya and Hanna.
 
Oh and we will never have to see that gruesome twosome friends of hers ever again!
 
Oop the Dawn Ward thing is kind of interesting as they OBVIOUSLY cannot be actively filming a show with it's main star currently on racism charges - but that they haven't openly FIRED her makes me think they will bring her back if she is cleared. If you really want to CUT THE CHORD, you'd just DO IT.

If I was casting director I'd be STRAIGHT on the phone to Ampika and Leanne, both of which HATE Dawn Ward right? Magali returning would be a GAG but I just don't really see it tbh. I can't imagine them ever getting rid of Seema, as I'm sure it's in her contract to DRESS THE CAST each season :D

I'm at early days with her but extremely disliking her so far. All the blathering on about God and religion rubs me the wrong way and then the gross husband insisting on going on the Florida trip because they never travel alone. Just UGH.

The Dawn Ward news isn't exactly surprising. Apart from the legal stuff, you could tell her heart isn't in it this season. Maybe that's down to COVID, I'm not sure, but she seems checked out compared to the others. Not that they're much better. They need to do a good culling of the cast a la NY season 5.
 
Leanne in Cheshire was mind-numbingly dull anyway. The only interesting thing she ever did was fall out with Dawn.

Ampika, however, is still bringing the mess despite having been off the show for years - openly GLOATING on Instagram recently when those charges were filed against Dawn :D
 
TBH I only mentioned Leanne as I thought her POSSIBLY returning with several years worth of BILE to spill on Dawn Ward could potentially be fun.

I forgot to mention the ATLANTA premiere!
Seeing Kenya present herself as a BROKEN WOMAN this season was quite something, definitely putting her previous noted acting EXPERIENCE to good use. The scene in the car kind of reminded me of Debbie in Adams Family Values.

The juxtaposition of Porsha's activism VS the other women sitting around on a driveway was a little jarring. At least Kenya came up with an excuse FROM THE OFF as to why she wasn't taking to the streets :D
 
Oh I thought Kenya was really sad, she’s stuck with this awful guy who hates her without a prenup. I felt bad for her and I’m not a fan of Kenya.
