Busy news day for housewives, first Brawnwyn came out as a lesbian, then Erika and Tom got sued because apparently their divorce is a scam to steal money from a class suit against Boeing (I don’t understand) and now Kyle, Kathy and Dorit all tested positive for Covid.
 
I am not ready for Beverly Hills storyline to drag all season and be how Kyle had covid :gross:
 
I’m really enjoying SLC!
I think episode 4 is a good watermark as you sort of know the personalities and alliances (although lol at them copy and pasting Mary Cosby, sorry GOD, into their social group when they’ve all clearly NEVER MET her before :D)

Meredith is emerging as the ACTUAL supreme, which I’m kind of into. I can totally see her becoming the shows anchor eventually. And he’s not my type at all, but I’d totally fuck Brooks FOR THE HELL OF IT!
Kind of also obsessed with Meridith’s face that DOESN’T MOVE, and also looks like an amalgamation of MULTIPLE other Housewives from other cities :D

I’m fine with Jen being extra - I think there’s obviously been a little PRODUCER MEDDLING/tequila pouring to get the first few episodes across the line, and tbh as ridiculous as the first 20 mins were they FLEW BY! I’m sure she will calm down a bit - if not we might have a new Danielle Staub on our hands! :D

Also God’s son would be kind of hot in a Jordan Stephens way if he had a wash - would his name canonically be JESUS being the son of god?

I can’t even at the FISH ON THE TABLE and the 5600 people that DIED to create the champagne at Mary’s event :D

Kind of obsessed with Lisa now too? Her affected way of talking is quite something, and her “CAN I TOUCH?” was giving me queen Lydiot vibes :disco:

The fashion is also generally PRETTY GOOD too, aside from an obvious exception :eyes:
 
Isn’t Atlanta due to re-start any moment now? I’ve heard more about the completely unexpected return of LITTLE WOMEN ATLANTA than I have Real Housewives :D

Everybody just assuming LW: Atlanta had been cancelled two years ago.

Omg Karen at the end of this week’s Potomac? Who leaves their own event like that? :D I didn’t even think the points raised AGAINST Karen were even bad enough to warrant leaving the event at all? :D I did lol when she ran back in to get her WIG BOX in shot.

If Karen wasn’t Karen, I really feel the fan base would be feeling quite a different way about that scene :D

I also kind of hate Gizelle this season, which I never thought I’d say having had her as a GOD TIER Housewife since day 1.

She's not coming off very well this season at all. Her daughters clearly don't even want to discuss Jamal, not least have him back in their mother's life - yet she keeps making them talk about him on camera, hoping for a different response each time.

And then there's the obvious jumping on the Monique vs Candiace fight as the excuse she's been searching for for three seasons, to come down hard on Monique over what pretty much boils down to jealousy.
 
The GRANDE DAME Karen will always reign supreme no matter what.

Gizelle has always been messy since day 1. I do have a soft spot for her though.

It may be the contrarian in me (it definitely is) but I don’t think anything Gizelle has done this season is that bad. Yes she hates Monique but so do I, and Karen is taking as many pot shots and running away when confronted.

DEFFO THIS - it’s the kids/relationship stuff that’s bugging me about Gizelle, not so much the Monique stuff.

The scene this week for her daughters 15th birthday where she was MAKING THEM FILM in some tacky ass fast food restaurant and talk about their ACTUAL parent’s relationship on camera was uncomfortable and tacky (not in a GOOD WAY either).

I thought she was above shit like that, clearly I was WRONG!

The occasional shade towards Robyn in confessionals this season hasn’t helped things EITHER.

Oh and UNRELATED, but lol at Robyn pretending to be interested in buying a 1.7 million house (!). I doubt she could even afford the yearly PROPERTY TAX on it, never mind the mortgage!
 
I presumed Mary was hosting a luncheon for 60 people not 6! Also we all know truffles are expensive, no need to tell us the COST. I just assumed she was a con artist but the crying during the prayer made me worry that she actually does believe the shit she comes out with!!

A woman so DANGEROUS and desperate —with nothing to lose, so must so that it must have scared the producers to deal with so they let her go after 2 seasons.

Don't even get me started on her dynamic with her daughters, using them as STORY DEVICES to bounce off questions about wherever or not she should phone another housewife to have an argument — while they just stare into the abyss and try their best to pacify her.
 
Her homophobic rant about her exit aimed at Andy Cohen prompted me to look into her deeper. I want to read THE BOOK now :D

The scene of her and Kim G LIVING for the drama and fuss they caused (after turning up with felons and Hell Angels for "protection") at the fundraiser for the baby with the cancer is a top 10 RH moment for me.

Teresa chasing Danielle through the country club. "YOU ARE A COKE WHORE" "I CAN'T MY HEELS ARE BROKEN" - is truly one of the Housewives GOLD scenes and I'm not that big on RHONJ.

"I PULLED HER FUCKING WEAVE OUT OF HER HAIR" :D

Was this EVER EXPLAINED as to how/why they were suddenly friends. I just remember Danielle being REVEALED as returning at the start of season 8 and NO EXPLANATION GIVEN to how or why her and Theresa were suddenly friends aside from, of course, the unspoken understanding it was for the good of the show :D
 
I haven't been paying attention, because quite frankly I DON'T REALLY CARE, but the Erika Jayne divorce/fraud case seems to be GATHERING SOME STEAM in the States. This GMA video both explains it all quite simply, and drags Erika THROUGHOUT :D

If it’s true then what diabolical couple stealing from the victims of a plane crash. But I also can see how this is something he’s done without her knowledge.
 
We just got to the Wrinkles Schminkles launch episode of Syndey - I can't believe any of that event was real :D From that drunk hairdresser openly mocking the thing he was trying to auction (losing thousands of dollars for charity in the process), to the arrival of LIZZIE BUTTROSE spilling her drinks everywhere and emphatically pointing to her earrings as a rejoinder to anything asked of her, what a night of dreams :disco:
